Buy two for one regular size doorway
The description and pick are misleading in that it actually shows two sets installed.

I made it work but not what I expected.
I gave this three stars because I was misled by the description. I expected a full 24 inch curtain. What I got was two 12 inch plastic strips and 10 bead strands. I found the "instructions" on the bottom of the box. The intent is to poke the ends of the strands into the plastic strips which are then mounted to a wall with small screws. If I follow the guide, I would only fill one of the strips and the actual width covered is around 10 inches. I wanted to make a portable curtain to use for events. So I got a dowel rod and attached the strands using rubber bands. The picture I added above shows three sets of these beads, spaced according to the holes in the accompanying strips. It only covers a 30 inch width. Someone else mentioned these beads look like Mardi Gras beads and I would agree with that. Although, for 14 bucks I wasn't expecting much. I actually like the beads and the end product. They look pretty good and I'm really enjoying them. However, it definitely wasn't what I was expecting.

Childhood dreams
I have always wanted a bead curtain. I am glad someone else mentioned that they weren’t long enough to fill the opening of a door, so I knew I needed to order two of them to “cover” a standard door opening. I have a slight gap in the center, so it isn’t fully covered. Also, it is an illusion, not a FULL curtain. I only received enough bead strands to put a strand in every third or fourth slot. Would have been nice to have every other slot, but there were only two available, so I got what I got, and am happy to have them.

The description is wrong as of March 20th, 2014
I am going to give this item a positive review even though I didn't use it. The description says that it is two 12ft pieces when in fact it is two 12 inch pieces. The description did not say this but you do have to screw two tracks onto the wall or ceiling and hang the strands individually. The strands were very shiny when I turned my disco lights on to test it out. Very pretty but did not cover the area I needed to cover.

An Okay Value if You Know What You Are Getting
This package includes 10 strands of beads. If you know that is what is included then this isn't a bad deal. I was aware of this prior to purchase from reading other reviews and I only wanted the set for the beads and not the hangers so I was reasonably happy with my purchase. I actually got these to add to another set of doorway beads with a hanger that I already had as my existing 10 strands wasn't enough for my 24" doorway. That being said I do not recommend the hanger that is included with this set. I found it to be very flimsy.

I buy a lots of stuff through Amazon. Usually don't write reviews unless something is really bad or really good. In this case, I would file this under the "bad" to "really bad" categories. Description says "two 12 foot sections of 6 feet 6 Inch long". Obviously (at least to me) you aren't going to get a set of beads 24 feet wide by 6 1/2 feet long for under $20. I received two 12 INCH sections of 6 1/2 feet long, which is what I expected. What I did not expect was receiving only 10 strands of beads when the picture showed 20 strands. That, in my opinion, is intentionally misleading. When installed in a standard doorway, there is about a 3" gap between strands, not consistent with the density posted in the image. Now I don't know for sure that ALL the sellers offering these beads are only sending 10 strands - perhaps someone else could confirm or deny that this is true with all sellers. My reason for questioning this is because one of the strands in my set had been broken in the middle and tied back together with a big ugly knot right in the middle of the strand. When I say a big ugly knot, I mean it had 1 inch knot ends hanging out. Like I wouldn't notice that? I ordered mine through "THE BT GROUP" via Amazon. It could be that only this seller ships half of what is pictured and ships used/repaired merchandise as new... or it could be that they are all packaged/shipped this way. Other reviewers can provide their experiences. Side note: I left a negative review for the seller, THE BT GROUP, and when I went to post it, I was encouraged to contact Amazon before posting a negative review. Um, yeah, I would have been happy to work this out with the seller in a quick email (i.e.: just send me another string to replace the one with the knot in it and we'll call it good) but the seller does not have any method to contact them other than through Amazon - in other words, I have to waste my time jumping through their hoops just to contact them. Not happening.

Misleading description, hard to install.
I'll start with the good, they look pretty and are fairly well made. That's about it for the good. The description is terribly misleading. Depending on how close you want them, you won't be able to cover very much area with just one box. 10 strands in a box and 24 inches of track. That's less than 1 every 2 inches. I got these to act as a pseudo door since my room just opens up straight into the hallway. I figured that if each package had 24 inches worth of strands, then 2 packs would be plenty. Unfortunately even after 2 packs my 36 inch doorway is still VERY open. I was going to order 1 more to fill it out, but when I cam back to the store the price had increased by 5 dollars (in about a week), amazon prime was taken off of it and the shipping was more than the item itself. Very disappointed.
