solid metal, NOT shiny like in pictures. needs better directions.

Positive: I have another metal spinner that is made from thin metal. A lot of the ones online look like they come from the same factory. THIS spinner is a more solid metal. Nice. The two spinners go in opposite directions, which is what I wanted. The post is also sturdier than the other spinner I have. negative: Instructions don't include pics or details of the assembly of the spinners, where spacers(cullets?) and bolts go. Not sure, but it looks like it needs a couple more spacers. -the picture online shows a shiny, orange surface. The blades are more of a dull, rusty look. -the spinning assembly doesn't turn horizontally with the wind, like my other one, meaning once you position it, you hope the wind hits it in the direction it faces. The blades spin pretty well when hit right, but we've had strong winds from different directions, and it didn't spin at all. In fact, as I write, it's really windy outside and it's still! There was a phone number for customer service but I didn't know how to describe what I thought might be missing.

Sturdy and colorful windmill at an affordable price.

This is a colorful and sturdy windmill. I had to contact the company regarding a stripped bolt. They replied and sent a replacement very quickly. I will order from Alpine again when I want another outdoor decor.

Disappointed

Disappointed in the product. Had a couple holes in it, the paint was not as expected. I'm still waiting for it to turn in the wind. Incert says consumer can text with any issues; however, I did with no reply.

Used spinner resent as new

Package badly damaged and pole to spinner was all scratched up. Parts lose inside box. Now know why 62 % off.

Wind spinner

The media could not be loaded. I ordered two...one for myself and one for my mom ( mother's day). I put mine together in a few minutes. I love it! Worth the money.

Fun wind spinner

I really like the movement of this Wind spinner. It is made sturdy and even has the four way spikes that go in the ground. Their customer service was also great!

Extremely Disappointing Wind Spinner

This is one of 5 spinners purchased at the same time. I personally own like 12x of these things now. I was extremely disappointed with both of the ALPINE spinners I purchased this last batch. This is a very small spinner on a nicely tall post, which is not at all what I was expecting. The design has several major flaws that make this a less than acceptable unit. First, the spinner is a single sided design. It has two spinners, one small and one smaller, but they are both on the same side, not even close to a balanced design. Worse, the head is fixed, and once the feet are inserted in the soil, the spinner will always be in that orientation. The head can not rotate with the changing wind direction for best spin. This is a very poor design. The unit that I received is so poorly balanced that this morning with winds gusting to 20 mph, the spinner did not move at all. Ok, I pretty much have had to balance every spinner I have purchased, so that they move nicely in extremely low wind situations, but never have I had a spinner so unbalanced that it wouldn't spin in the kind of wind gusts I am currently experiencing. As far as value for the money, why spend money on a bad design. Buy a good one. I intend to avoid Alpine products in the future.
