When I first received the locomotive it would not run, so I shipped it to Bachmann repair in Philadelphia Pa It was repaired under warranty , Now it interfears with my other DDC locomorives I want ship back instruckions and a full refund credited to my debit ending in 6760

A Realistic Sounding Diesel HO Train That Runs Well

My grandchildren started to show interest in model trains about a year and a half ago. So I decided to setup an 8'x10' layout in my basement for them to play with when they came over. I went with DCC so that they could control their own individual trains. As the layout expanded, I wanted to add another locomotive that was not too expensive yet was DCC equipped w/Sound. This offering from Bachmann did the trick. The modeling detail is great and the sound is very realistic, with ample volume and no distortion; to my grandchildren's delight. The engine runs smoothly and is programmed for a realistic gradual speed up and slow down, with the sounds to match. It has become one of my grandchildren's favorite locomotives on our layout. Bachmann also has matching SOO rolling stock to match this SOO locomotive, which we have also added.
