Much Harder than You Think it Would Be
Bought this because my wife really likes all things Cinderella and it's an activity we can tackle together. Once you complete this puzzle, you can set it out for display. Couple things you need to know. -- Unlike other 3D puzzles, there are no individual numbers on the pieces. This is important because there are guides available out there on the Internet, which refer to the numbers on the pieces. Since these don't have numbers, it makes it very difficult to find instructions for when you get stuck. -- There's very little size difference in the pieces for the Main tower versus the 4 corner towers. Adds to the difficulty level because it can be hard to discern which pieces go with the various towers. In fact the Main tower uses some small diameter pieces that are easily mistaken for corner tower pieces. -- The finished puzzle is smaller than you would expect based on the number of pieces. Be aware that the castle is not even 6 inches on the sides. -- The pieces don't lock in place. As you put the tower pieces together, don't be surprised if it doesn't stay together. You're gonna have to be patient. -- The pieces are clear, which can make it hard to really see the edges of each piece. -- Buy some clear coat spray (gloss) if you want to preserve this for display after you're done. If you don't spray this puzzle, it will fall apart. If you enjoy a challenge, then get this puzzle. If you get easily frustrated, don't get this, you will end up throwing this in the trash or putting it aside and never touching it again.

Fun to complete and a pretty conversation piece!
I am a puzzle enthusiast, and recently stumbled upon the 3D crystal puzzles. The castle is my first purchase of these types of puzzles, but it definitely won't be my last! I had a lot of fun working on it, and it's very pretty once assembled. Most puzzles I complete ultimately get taken apart because I just don't have the space to store or display them, which is sad, but this piece fits nicely on a shelf, and visitors are intrigued by it. It's hard for them to believe that it came in 105 pieces! The total completion time for my pace/skill was about an hour and a half, and it made for a nice, quiet evening activity after my kid went to bed. If the surface you use to work on is dark, the light-colored pieces are much easier to see. I started on a light wood table, but I had a hard time with the pieces, so I threw down a dark towel for the work surface, and that helped immensely. The rod inserts are great and I didn't have any issues with them. They make the castle sturdy enough that if it falls, it won't be destroyed, but I did put a drop of glue for each flag to hold them in place. I love this puzzle. If you like puzzles, you need to try the 3D crystal puzzles!

A fun challenge
I recommend this one if you're looking to kill some time with a good challenge. Just know that you might get stuck a few times because many of the pieces have similar cuts and initially appear to sit flush despite not being in the correct place. At one point I thought I completed the puzzle despite having an extra piece because there were no obvious gaps. Upon closer inspection, I found the mistake and was able to use all pieces to complete it. So if you think you're missing jigsaw pieces, have extras, and/or don't have the right ones, look a little closer before writing off the puzzle as defective.

Missing instructions
It’s hard to put 3D puzzle together with no instructions. I have this to my son for Christmas and we just now got around to opening the box of course we can’t send it back. We did get the instruction off the internet but not the same

Piece wasnt actually missing.
We thought we were missing a piece but found out later that it was stuck to another piece. And not one it was supposed to connect to. Lol. Took 2 hours of my husband and I disassembling it and reassembling it until we figured that out. Still recommend. Looks great. Especially if you put a little $1 string of fairy lights under it.

Challenging, for those who are great with clear pieces.
If you are really good at clear crystal puzzles this is for you. The only reason I didn't give it a higher rating is because I personally suck at these. The 40-41 piece ones are pretty fun, but 104 is very hard for me. I have attempted starting this one several times, only to get annoyed at it and put it back in the box. I tried the pirate one, and after about 8hours my boyfriend and I finally finished it. With that said, I am no longer listening to the "hints" on the back of the box. Start from the ground up. It suggested to do the towers first but I find this impossible so next go around I am sticking to the bottom like the pirate ship

Other than issues with flags, this was great
This is not a particularly large puzzle, even though it does have 104 pieces. The base lights up and plays Christmas themed music, which I like, but others may not. The pieces fit together well for the most part (though we did have to break them off a frame). The last bit is to put the flags at the top of each tower. They did not slide in smoothly, and TWO of them ended up snapped off their very thin poles. One could be superglued, but the other is just shorter than its compatriots. When the puzzle is displayed, that is not noticeable, and it was an enjoyable puzzle to complete.

Beautiful puzzle
Really cool puzzle, it is a fun challenge to put together. It kind of looks like an ice castle when it is finished and it is really cool if you put a color changing LED under it, then it glows!
