Our Two Year Old Likes This
Our 2.5 year old likes this puzzle. She is fascinated by letters. We teach the letter sounds, and have letter cards. We also bought letter posters. She knows all of the letters. This puzzle it is easy to mix the p and the d. Next time make the p, b, d, q all different colors. 4.5 stars

Quality just ok
I thought this looked great in the product photos but the quality is just ok. The wood isn’t super smooth and the shapes are not very crisp and clean. The i looks like an l and I don’t love the little tail on the l. The capital letters are also very very small on the base for matching. I honestly might return.

p b and d all in pink; Otherwise Great!
Love this puzzle; My only complaint is that I wish the p b and d weren’t all the color pink as they are not interchangeable and frustrating for my younger toddler to try to distinguish (which is mostly by color right now). I’m sure it will be fine after some practice. Great puzzle otherwise, I do recommend!

A few issues but overall good
Searched hard for lowercase letters with an “a” shaped like kids are taught to write it. Overall decent quality (one piece of the puzzle base cake chipped) but it was hard for my 3 year old to match, so I outlined the side of the letter that needs to face up so she could more easily do it.

I like that inside each lowercase letter on the board itself
Made in Indonesia and conforms to the more stringent EU standards for children's toys. I researched numerous brands after the lead paint scare in wooden toys and settled on this one. The paint on the corners do chip off with repeated play. Overall, the quantity of the letters are solid and has stood up to regular play. I like that inside each lowercase letter on the board itself, the corresponding capital letter is painted in to help little ones match the lower to the upper case. I have both the lower case and upper case alphabet sets by bigjig. It's probably the most played with toy in the house!

Not recommended for learning
For learning the letters, this is too confusing. Some fit into other slots and the colors of the similar letters are the same color too. Sturdiness was the best it could get.

Very cheap quality, not suitable for gifting
Item does not come with a box, only wrapped in plastic wrap. The wood is very cheap quality. As you can see in the photos, the wood is already splintering on both the edges of the puzzle and the edges of the individual letters. I would be hesitant to give this to any child to use as it is a splinter risk. To top it off, the puzzle came missing the letter E. Avoid this item!

Great for reading!
Awesome product for toddlers to learn their lowercase alphabet. Since introducing this alongside and uppercase letter board, my 2.5yr old sounds out words. I recommend starting with this lowercase letter board first as we learn to read in lower case first, right? Tip: take a permanent marker and write in the letter in the grooved area where the letter piece goes. No more confusion with what letter goes where. I did the same thing with my uppercase letter board.

Very important with toddlers learning
The product is very well made, my grandson loves it and most importantly it’s a lowercase alphabet puzzle which helps with their learning, as all phonic and reading is taught in lowercase, so get a capital letters puzzle BUT most importantly get a lowercase one.

Disappointed
Pieces stuck to board and pulled off paint when taken off. Very disappointing for the price!

sturdy and good sizing but can be confusing for little one
Sizing is great and chunky enough for little hands to handle. The only downside is that the letters b, d, p, q are not very differentiated and it didn’t help that all of them are almost in the same colour shade, for a 21month old, these can be very confusing. Other letters like n and u as well are not as differentiated but at least they are of different colours.

Brilliant
This was a lovely product as we love wooden toys! This is very educational and we colourful. I purchased this for my 2 year old who loves it.
