Cuts Through Concrete Like Butter!

Based on using other hole saws I was concerned this would take a while. WRONG! From the beginning it cut like someone had melted the concrete.

Discontinued saw sizes, too much play.

They've stopped carrying certain sizes of their carbide hole saws, specifically the HTC350 (3 1/2" hole saw). Annoying to buy an adapter and not be able to get accessories for it. Greenlee makes a better adapter with less play, would recommend that over the Bosch. Customer service wasn't great with my inquiry either, took almost a week to get a response. Going to look to Makita or Dewalt for upcoming router options. Disappointed with Bosch service and limited carbide hole saw options. Update: Tried customer service again, more helpful this time. They said their daredevil hole saws would be compatible with this mandrel. Still leaves me without a hole saw option from Bosch for 3 3/4" but solves my 3 1/2" need. I purchased a MK Morse mandrel and 3 3/4" carbide hole saw, very nice. Review for Bosch goes from 1 to 3 stars for offering better customer service than before. Still just a fair product line though, MK Morse and Greenlee have better options.

The best hole saw mandrel

Very sturdy and well designed. The quick change feature is great. There is no wobble once the pilot bit and hole saw are in place. For the reviewer that said that the pilot bit keeps falling out, then it must not be in all the way. You need to pull back the outer sleeve (like an air hose connection) in order for the pilot bit to insert all the way. I liked the decision so much that I got this along with the adapters for non-Bosch hole saws.

Works great for Bosch branded bits, not so much for other brands

This holder works great with Bosch branded quick change hole saw bits, but it won't hold onto other brands, even though it states it is "universal"

Worked well with the Bosch 1 1/4” diamond hole saw

Bought this along with the Bosch 1 1/4” diamond hole saw to install grab bar anchors in Ceramic shower tile. Worked like a charm. Really slick system being able to remove the pilot bit with just a click and just use the hole saw after the (hole saw) hole is started, so as to not hit anything inside the wall with the pilot.

Bosch Quick Change Mandrel

This really makes changing the saw and bit a breeze.
