Cute Costume, Seller Error

The costume was really pretty (awesome colors) and fun, perfect for a pre-teen. Unfortunately I was sent an Extra Large instead of a Large and it was returned. The top was to low and droopy and the pants was also to big too. They would have to have been safety pinned waist slipped off and legs were baggy (should have been tights on the wearer). I believe that a Large would have fit (sz 12) perfect. My daughter did put it on for a picture. Take notice how low the neckline dropped and baggy the pants were. I have to admit that it was a disappointment since she really loved the overall look (not on her) and it was well made. I DO recommend the COSTUME. Costume is 5 stars but, gave 4 stars due to seller error. I didn't want to chance an exchange to get another XL or shipping delayed and not arrive in time for Halloween.

Good for the price

This is a cute costume and the price was good. The pros, the velvet like material on the jacket is nice, the colors are nice and bright. My daughter didn't use the little hat, but it's cute. She loved the matching green gloves that came with it and was happy with this overall. The cons, the bow is floppy and hangs down, so I had to tack sew the edges to the jacket to make it look right like a bow. The boot cuffs are a little small. They worked out, but my daughter wears a size 5 women's shoe and the covers didn't cover her toes all the way. I tried a bunch of different things because she was wearing this for a speech and after trying them with boots, shoes etc. I actually ended up gluing them on black ballet slippers and they looked ok. The pants had snags in them near the rear when we got them so it was just cheap material but luckily the pink skirt covered it so it wasn't noticeable. I was happy with this, 3 stars because I had to sew the bow and the pants had several snags in them when they arrived.

A bit big up top

The styling is ok--it is "sassy" and tweeny as the pic indicates. The deal on amazon was great--less than half of the same exact costume from a certain fancy halloween catalogue. Made better than most costumes. Runs wide in shoulders and LOW neckline. The skirt also is a bit shorter in front than, but the leggings help with that. DD had to wear tank under it to cover her chest area properly.

Loved this!

My daughter is very slim and fairly tall (12.5 yrs old. She looked fantastic in this outfit, and it was worth every penny to see her so proud of her look! She just wore it again for a school spirit day (Mad Hatter), and it still fit. I washed it on gentle and hung dry; it looks brand new. And it did not pill or thread out. Nice quality!

Cute and well made costume.. but it runs on the small side

I order this item for my daughter and got one day shipping from AMAZON PRIME. The package arrived on time and for only $3.99. This is a well made cute costume.. the only warning I have is it runs on the SMALL side. I ordered a size up and it just fits my daughter. I am glad I read the reviews before purchasing so I knew to order up.

LOVE IT!!

ADORABLE!!! My daughter won multiple Halloween contests with this costume and received compliments every time she wore it. My daughter is 10 and tall for her age, so the size 12 fit perfectly. Found this at a local Halloween store and they wanted $30 more. Love Amazon and Prime 2 day shipping! The costume is and will always be a fav.

Cute!

Very cute and age appropriate. My 11 year old loves her costume. She is a very petite 11 year old and the large fit her perfect. It does leave some space for growing room, but I think a medium would have been to small. She normally wears a 12 slim in clothing.
