Just what I was looking for.

I needed something that would fit into a small space and that I could stack together, I did need to get creative to munt them together.

I have more than a few pairs of shoes, and it has become time for them to migrate from the closet and under the bed to their proper place of glory: a shoe rack. I found a few good reviews for this one, and as it was only temporary (oh, and it was VERY temporary) it was at the perfect price point. I received it in the mail, opened it up, and laid it out to ensure it had all the pieces. Red Flag One: It has two sizes of screws, and of the type with the higher quantity it was missing ten. No problem, off to the Big Box Store that rhymes with "Owes." I started to assemble, and as the warning stated I DID NOT USE ANY POWER TOOLS, just a screwdriver. Two screws in and I heard the distinctive crack of the thin wood splitting. Red Flag Two: The pilot holes are just deep enough to make a visible hole, but not enough to help the wood not crack. I go ahead and work through it, being sure to add some heavy-duty wood glue to each joint as I went. Regardless, when it was all said and done it was held together more with glue than screws. After a proper curing time had passed I set it against the wall where it was intended to go. As soon as I set the first pair of shoes on it, I saw it immediately pull away from the wall. From previous reviews I was ready: I have a product whose name sounds something like "Command Trips," and I secured the shoe rack to the wall. I placed some more shoes on it, and again I heard that **crack** noise. Two of the three joints I HADN'T applied glue to went ahead and snapped. The shoes returned to their humble places under the bed and in the closet. The screwdriver and glue went home to the tool shed. And the shoe rack? Alas, it proved to be very useful in its final job: kindling for the fireplace.

Prop 65 Warning

This product triggers a Prop 65 warning when purchasing in the state of CA. That indicates they have found something in it that could cause cancer or impact fertility. If that's not the case, Lavish Homes should clarify. I reached out to them twice through their website to inquire, but they didn't respond either time, indicating they don't know or don't care. I wouldn't recommend this product if you are concerned about its wood or chemical properties, especially if you have children in the house.

Love my outdoor shoe rack

I really like this wooden shoe rack. I left it outside of the house by the door, and it has been very useful for me. It is study, and I would recommend it.

Does the job!

Needed a rack to fit in a tight spot by the back door and found this shelf for $18.00. Assembly was kind of a pain! You really need to take the time to line things up and screw them together slowly. Durability seems okay....there is a split on the bottom shelf (see photo) but it isn't all the way through, so it could've been done by someone accidentally when they were putting their shoes on the rack. It doesn't seem to affect the integrity of the shelf and I will probably put a dollop of glue on it for reinforcement. The shelves have so far stayed level, but I am careful to put the heavier shoes on the ends and lighter ones in the centers. There's room for a LOT of our shoes! 14 pairs at the moment! It really reduces the amount of clutter by the back door and is neutral enough to blend in. I like it a lot and expect to get at least a couple year's use out of it.

Poor quality. Flimsy wood that splintered more when screwing together.

Keeping because I needed something to last only a year and after screwing it all together it wasn’t worth it to take apart. I should have read the other reviews before purchasing.

was a little pricy however it was exactly what I needed. That made the cost worth while. I was able to cut in halve and made two, two tiered shelves to fit my closet. It therefore was way cheaper then two separate purchases.

Not worth it

I thought I read the reviews for this, but obviously not. I wouldn't have bought it, because it's very very cheap. For what I paid for it, I would not buy again or recommend. Spend your money elsewhere. Now that I have it, it does what it's supposed to do, but unsure on it's longevity.

Very Poor Quality

This product was a terrible purchase. Pieces broke on assembly and once it is assembled it is not sturdy. Avoid it!

Bueno y fácil de armar

Se arma muy fácilmente. Se siente resistente y tiene buen acabado. El único problema es que uno de los hoyos para los tornillos no venía con la suficiente profundidad, por lo que fue necesario usar una broca para que el tornillo pudiera entrar sin maltratar el mueble. Por ese detalle le doy 4 estrellas…

Requiere mejorar el control de calidad al ensamblar

En la parte de arriba venia mal armada los clavitos en una esquina estaba abierta. No se observaban datos de que se hubiera golpeado en el traslado pero igual DHL es la peor paquetería en mi ciudad
