Great shirt for outdoors and hot & humid weather

I had another Columbia shirt already(gift) when I bought this one, but I have always thought they run a size bigger. I get that they are meant to fit loose for air circulation purposes but I'm more of a slim fit guy. So when I saw this shirt it seemed like a more modern/slim fit (the proper one for me I thought). I went ahead and bought, quality is great as always my favorite shirt for fishing, going outdoors for a hike or just for wearing it in a really hot summer day. Well the fit part, yes they seemed like modern and slim however they are not. I do recommend if you'll like yours to be more fitted to go a size down, or even better go ahead and order both sizes (your regular and one size down) to try them on, keep the one you like the best and return the one you don't need).

Fantastic! Comfortable! Low maintenance!

I did NOT buy it cuz I wanted an off-shore fishing shirt! I bought it cuz I wanted a cool, long-sleeved shirt that I can wear on the beach and to slightly more-dressy (but still casual) venues. Tho it's a poly fabric it washes beautifully in cool/cold water, dries (to an almost fully-dry state) well at a casual setting, then goes on to a hanger and is ready to wear!!!!

Try on in a store first- Great shirt

I love this shirt, I purchased the Beacon color. Its incredibly comfortable in hot weather. I live in Florida and have to deal with excruciating heat for the better part of the year. This shirt lets a good amount of air through without compromising on the looks. It definitely keeps me cool and I enjoy knowing my skin is somewhat safer from UV rays. I take this shirt fishing and camping and it works great in the hot conditions. It also dries extremely fast so for example, I will rinse/wash this shirt at night when camping and hang it up. By the next morning it is dry and clean. Definitely try this shirt on in a store before buying. I am 6' 1" and 205 lbs and usually wear a size large shirt. I was able to fit in a small size, although not very comfortably, when trying it on at Sports Authority. I settled on the Medium because I felt it fit me perfectly. I ended up getting this shirt for 30 bucks with Amazon Prime, it was priced above $45 at my local Sports Authority. I would definitely recommend this shirt to anyone interested as long as you try on some different sizes in a store before buying online.

this shirt rocks!

I love everything about it. I have two of them. Where the shirt really excels is in beach locations. it's a great shirt for the beach, looks sharp around beach towns, dries quickly and keeps the sun off. Plus the sleeves roll up nicely. My only warning is to buy a size smaller than you think you need. I'm a large. 44 inch chest. I always buy large. Always. So I ignored the warnings and bought this shirt in large. it fits, but a bit too big. It make sme look unnecessarily large. I'm not a fat guy, but.... this shirt. I went to the stor and tried on a medium (which I never buy), and that is what I should have gotten. Looks really nice. However, even with the size issue I still wear these shirts al the time because they're so comfortable. I took off one star for the sizing issue.

Good but not great

So I bought this shirt to protect me from the sun, which it does. I wanted to use it as something I could throw over the tshirt I was wearing for work that day. See I work for the post office as a mail carrier in Arizona. This past week it was average of 108 degrees outside, to give you an idea what I'm working with, and I have fair skin. I'm not trying to get skin cancer as I've seen what happened to my fellow co-workers. It works great to protect my arms, back and shoulder but I have to say that it gets to hot to wear. I tried toughing it out but I ended up buying long sleeved tshirts that have sun protection. Still its a nice sytlish shirt that I wear out and the color looks just like the picture. I would recommend this shirt to anyone that wants the function of sun protection and the style of a fisherman/outdoors man.

crisp limey/mint

the color is very much an artificial key lime color for us florida folk that know the difference- much brighter than the color shown but not fluorescent- it is a nice pop of color, though may a little much for some if you're expecting a more subdued pastel as i was preferring for hiking. side back vents are great. not a bad shirt but did not care for the velcro on pockets- difficult to open/keep open (zippers would be an improvement) so for that & brightness it was returned. i have found to prefer the men's tamiami to the women's versions for hiking purposes- i am a small bust petite female but they still give more moving room than the fitted women's versions when you got a pack strapped on, and i prefer the side back & front pocket venting- i'll just take the sides in a bit if i want it less baggy

Most comfortable summer shirt I own...

Great style and fit, comfortable, breathable, with sun protection. I have sunblock shirts which are not as comfortable, so opted for this 40 SPF material which should be sufficient. Look forward to buying more. The only problem was how it was shipped from amazon, in a box with two heavy containers. The material is very soft, so it got a bit pinched and marred knocking around in the box between them. Luckily, my wife was able to iron it out. Perhaps could have been put in a padded envelope for better protection, or shipped separately.

Tallas americanas, quedan grandes.

Recomendaría pedir una talla menor a la habitual, vienen muy amplias las camisas Columbia. Es una tela delgada, perfecta para la temporada de calor.

The shirt was perfect for our sun vacation. The color was great. Not only did it wash well but it was absolutely wrinkle-free, lovely feeling material and had a very attractive style to it. Would highly recommend it!

Buena calidad, en excelente precio

El color mucho mas bonito de lo que se aprecia en la foto. Menos intenso. La talla es amplia, la mediana le quedó muy bien a mi esposo que mide 1.74 y pesa 75k. Muy fresca y de buena calidad.
