Terrible Packaging

The hat arrived stuffed into a bag , then into a box. It was completely misshaped. As another said, I took an iron on high steam and a dish towel and pressed the wrinkles out of it. Also, the size small is for size 7 and under. I wear size 7 1/8 so it was a bit tight. It’s an ok hat and I’ll keep it . But next time I’ll order something else

Great hat.

My husband loves this hat. I recently bought him another one because it had perspiration stains on if. Just tried white vinegar with a heavy sponge and it cleaned it. This travels well, maintains its shape, and is very nice looking. Both color choices are very nice. It has a nice brim for good sun protection.

Amazon didn't know how to ship hat

Second hat from Amazon, this go round the packer didn't care. My husband has traveled with same lightweight hat for years. This hat arrived yesterday devoid of protecting shape with a plastic head dome. Returning. Great hat if you can find it elsewhere.

Even if it's named "Bonehead", you won't look like one in this hat.

As I've grown older and the need to wear cover during outdoor activities has increased due to, um, having less "natural cover" (hair), I tend to veer towards baseball caps because I think brimmed hats look silly on me. Still, I thought I'd try something different and I bought this hat because I was about to go on a beach vacation and I knew I'd end up needing more protection on my ears and neck than normal. I was pleasantly surprised at the fit and comfort of this hat. It also really helps that you can roll it up, crush it by accident or fold it for packing into a suitcase for travel, and it comes out of all of that abuse looking pretty good. I kind of wish that the band were a single color but I suppose I could fix that myself. Otherwise, I've been very pleased and this is one of the very few brimmed hats I've tried that I don't feel like a "bonehead" wearing.

Size up for comfort but if you are ok with tight to stay on, it will work fine Super cute and summery! Great for laying by the beach or pool

Great Hat - Packed Well

Hat is comfortable and fit perfectly I wear a 7 3/8 in Stetson and bought the L / XL . It was packed well and is a classic style.

Needs ironing ????????????‍♀️

The hat came in the worse packaging ????????‍♀️. The shape of d hat was ruined n nothing would bring it back. I took d risk and actually iron it w a towel on top and it worked. I used d cotton setting on my iron with lots of stem. Am not so worried about the top since once on is not noticeable. Other than d packaging I love d hat.

Weird Name Great Hat

I saw some rather persuasive ads for the Bonehead somewhere, but Columbia just puts a PFG tag on it for Performance Fishing Gear. It has a wide brim and is intended for those who spend a lot of their time actively enjoying the great outdoors. If you open the Columbia website and do a search for Bonehead you will see an array of clothing and baseball caps, but not this hat. Fortunately Amazon has them available at a great price and I couldn't resist getting one. There are lots of other hats made of various palm and straw fibers, and the Bonehead has a striking resemblance to the very popular Cuenca Fedora style, but this hat is made of a Washi derivative and will probably hold up longer to all the abuses a rugged outdoors hat is likely to get. Getting this hat wet won't destroy it. The hat arrived to me crushed and quickly resumed its original shape upon pulling it out of the box. The material is quite soft and flexible, and the brim sits flat. It has an elastic sweatband that serves double duty in providing a snug fit on all heads in either the S/M or L/XL ranges. I purchased a S/M and it is a perfect fit for my 57 centimeter head. It's a great hat, and I have already ordered another one while still available.

LOVE this hat!! I came back to buy another!

BEST summer hat I have ever bought for myself!! Super quality and comfortable. I have a bigger head and lots of hair and always have trouble finding a wide brimmed hat to fit. (Women’s size) Look no further. I bought one originally with the navy band and just received my second with a tan band. LOVE! I wear it daily and get compliments every time from strangers and friends. WORTH EVERY CENT!!! Highly recommend

Buen sombrero, Lo malo es el empaque de Amazon y por eso le puse 3 estrellas, lo envían en una simple bolsa y llega todo maltratado, después te cuesta mucho darle forma. Ya lo moje y aguanto. De talla me quedo bien.

Buenísimo ,poquito pesado muy bien hecho , mi talla es 22.5” y me quedo justo ,si su talla es menos de 22.5 les va a quedar porque trae un elástico por dentro al rededor , ya había comprado el grande en otro modelo de Columbia y ese daba 24” y no traía ajuste este está buenísimo

Good for big heads

I have an abnormally large head for a woman...24" circumference (bigger than my 6'5" husband!) so I have an absolutely hellish time finding hats that aren't hideous. One size fits all? BAH - yeah right. This one JUST fits me. I can feel it on my head but it is still OK to wear for extended periods. I wouldn't agree that it's especially breathable, but the brim is a nice size for keeping the sun off my face. It has a nice "Indiana Jones" vibe to it and isn't too masculine. It looks cute with a variety of outfits, even dresses. My only wish is it was about a 1/4 inch bigger and that it didn't have the "PGF Professional fishing gear" label on it LOL! But my sister thought it was a Guess label on the back until we read it more closely so I guess that's ok.
