Perfect for 3 seasons in the PNW

I bought this right before moving to the PNW and was super disappointed that Columbia discontinued it. Came here to buy a second one, and am seriously considering a few more just to have for when these wear out. It fits snugly (I’m between M and L, and this is a small-ish L that fits me perfectly), and fits great under waterproof layers. It’s too snug to wear over a baggy under-layer. It’s more windproof than a sweatshirt, but when I wear it hiking it’s still breathable and easy to carry if I get warm. I’m tall and the sleeves are barely long enough, so if you have normal or short arms you’ll be fine. One thing to note is that the sleeve cuffs are heat-sealed in addition to the stitching, so when the stitching started to fail the cuffs didn’t fall apart. That being said, I’ve noticed that in my newer one, said stitching started to come out the second or third time I wore it. My older one has no stitching left, and the cuffs are still hanging on… but I don’t give it more than a year and a half of regular wear.

Columbia Can't Get Sizing Right Anymore

I ordered this shirt in my usual medium and it was too tight and restrictive in the sleeves. I have very thin arms, but found this too tight. I ordered a large and it was made for a gorilla! Too big everywhere. Columbia used to me my go to clothing in a medium for years, but the sizing of their products is all over the place now.
