Light Cool - 900, Fair Skin Wonder Nude!!!

03/18/23 - Just got this today and I love it! I want try more colors and get more of this specific one! I am very pale, the fairest person I know. I burn easily, have freckles and hazel eyes. It has been difficult to find nude lipstick that does not make me look washed out or appears too orange or dark on my cool toned skin. I have a heart condition that causes my lips to be white or blue. This causes me to look ill and prompts unsolicited questions. Light Cool - 900 makes me feel sophisticated and confident. This color, Light Cool - 900, is hands down the best nude I have ever tried. It truly is "nude" and it is the color of my natural lips at their best. I feel very lady-like with this color, it makes me feel more put together, and healthier looking. It is a quite light pink. I can see myself using another color, in this same collection, called Blushed Mauve - 550 to deepen the color or create a subtle ombre effect. I'll take a picture of my lips when I'm all done up. I tend to lean to more natural makeup looks and this color fits the bill perfectly. Regarding longevity, this lipstick is amazing! It does feel drying when initially applied however the included balm changes it to something very comfortable. Usually I'm a Carmex only girl and this does not irritate my lips or feel like the Sahara. Picture taken in natural light. Left, Light Cool and right, Blushed Mauve. Both are subtle colors.

Nice color and lasted during my wedding

Used this lip color during my wedding. Had to.wipe off me teeth a few times. But otherwise long lasting and the balm you put on top keeps it smooth and comfortable

The color really do stays!

I have bought multiple lipstick that are supposedly non transferable but this is the only product that actually meant what they are claiming! It will last through sipping on drinks and eating all day. The lip gloss is also very hydrating! It's a great product with nice, natural colors!

This lasts ALL DAY

I love this lip color. True, it's not a moisturizing lip color, and it is slightly drying, but it lasts ALL DAY! That's the most important thing to me. I put it on in the morning go about my business, eat, drink, whatever and it stays on. Sometimes I wake up with color still on my lips. I make sure to use the top coat one minute after applying and then I reapply the topcoat once or twice during the day, small price to pay for all day color.

Lasts!

Deep Cool Nude is a very flattering colour and it lasts more than half a day. Be sure to exfoliate your lips every couple days - if you have dead skin, this product gets a bit chunky as the day goes on. It is pretty drying and may make your lips peel a bit when you remove it. But it looks great and I love not having it rub off on my mask. Overall I'm really happy with it, will buy again.

Great for the price!

I love these long lasting lipsticks. A little liner and these can last 5 or more hours depending on if you are eating etc. I find that there is minimal transfer i.e after application to a coffee mug. etc. Colors can be hard to determine online, however I got pretty luck. Will order more as needed.

My go-to long-lasting lipstick.

When I don’t want to worry about re-applying my lipstick, I swipe this on in the morning and it lasts for hours. I recommend re-applying the balm as the lips will look dry after several hours or after eating/drinking. But the colour will still be there.

“Light cool” colour is very frosted

I bought the light cool colour and I was unpleasantly surprised at just how light it was. I have quite fair light skin and even this shade was too light for me and made my lips look too pale. I think only someone with the fairest porcelain skin would suit it. It also has a very frosted finish which in my opinion looks really dated. Not a fan.

Very dark colour, very drying stain.

Very disappointed in this lipstick duo. The colour ‘universal nude’ is anything but and the lip stain dried my lips out. It is not at all flattering or comfortable to wear. I purchased this product in hopes that my lipstick would not transfer to my mask . . . and it deliver on that. No return on a personal product, so I’ve trashed the stain and will use the gloss over my usual lipstick when not wearing a mask. Will not purchase Covergirl lip products again.
