Spool Replacement Line

This is the correct diameter to replace the line on the spools for my Craftsman trimmer.

Works in my V20 Weed Wacker.

I use this on my V20 2 speed weed eater. I mainly run on low and rarely on high. My yard is full of rocks, trees and some concrete and this string is strong. Like any string you have to have some common sense, which is not so common anymore. This is a lighter string, but it is strong, used on a battery operated trimmer, you have to let the machine and string do it's job and know what they are both capable of. If you need gas powered and a heavier string, they're out there, common sense. I have 2 gas powered trimmers and I prefer my V20 any day. I run 9.0ah batteries and get a lot done. Highly recommend this string.

Works good, but made a nice birds nest first time I opened it

I will say that the string works well and holds up well (having edged my lawn with it about 10 times now). The annoying thing (and maybe it was my fault, I'm not sure) was when I opened it and made a big tangled birds nest of the string. I was pretty careful so I'm not sure how this happened but they make it really difficult to get the string started without tangling it. I'm not looking forward to untangling it as it looks like ill need to completely lay it out and re-roll it. Work on the packaging. The string is quite good. I know it's lasting way longer than others I've used as I'm not having to bump the head to advance the string and I have quite a bit of edging on my property.

Falls apart

I replaced the string in my trimmer with this Craftsman line and started it up. The string literally blew apart. There were pieces all over the patio. I restrung the trimmer and the string didn't last near as long as the cheap stuff I had left over from another roll. Not something I would recommend and I won't be spending the money on more of this brand. It may have been a bad batch but I paid more for this roll than I've ever spent on trimmer line in past. l'll see how the rest of the roll lasts but I won't be buying any more of this over priced line. Sorry. Update: I read somewhere that if you soak the line in water for a while, the line is easier to work with and doesn't break as easily. Well...I tried it just for the halibut. Huge difference. I trimmed the whole yard without the line breaking once. Manufacturers and dealers should be telling you this but then again they wouldn't sell as much of it. Give the water a try and see what you think. Definitely made a difference for me. Have an awesome day.
