2 inch coupler on boat trailer

The original coupler broke the main bolt. The Curt repair kit was a perfect replacement. All the parts were easy to install. It was better than it had ever been before

Quality spare at a good price

Please leave a comment if you have any questions I'll be happy to help. I purchased this repair kit so I had spares of both the smaller standard sizes hitches. My intent was to add these to my "Emergency RV repair toolkit" so if myself or any other traveler has issues I would be prepared and have plenty of spares. This folds nicely flat in the bottom of the tool kit and doesn't take up too much space. I've included a photo of my kit and circled these hitch repair parts in that toolkit. For the price and piece of mind having the spare before you need it, especially when you're traveling; this is well worth it.

I bought this coupler repair kit hoping to help fix my issue I had been having with my trailer, but it didn't end up fittting. I think it may have been my fault that it didn't fit because I may not have understood the sizing correctly, but I'm not sure. So I was disappointed that it didn't end up working for me, however, it came in strong packaging and it seemed like it would have been a great fix for a coupler that it fit correctly. Also, I was happy that it was fairly inexpensive, so I didn't end up wasting a lot of money. I'm sure I could find someone else who could use it. Overall it was a good enough product, just not right for me.

This latch is excellent !!!!

Product desription was very vague. Bought it hoping it was what I wanted, it was even better. This is for a 2" ball coupler, just what I needed. It is a class 3, which makes it beefy, and it is! It comes assembled, It comes drop shipped from CURT, and in pretty good time. Price was SUPER, Less than 5 bucks delivered, how is that even possible............This latch stud was a little bigger than the one I replaced so I had to file out the slot in the coupler a little, 2 minutes worth of my time. I will upload a pic. Product description says made in USA, please note pic. Also does not weigh 7 pounds, 2 or 3 maybe.

Replacement for Harbor Freight junk

Bought this for a harbor freight coupler that broke. Great price for this kit and I didn't have to buy the whole coupler and replace it. Fit well, positive coupling. Much heavier duty than the original. Bought two in case I broke this one eventually but I don't think it'll happen after looking at the construction. Glad I found it.

Just what I needed

This product cam just as advertised. I had purchased a boat with an old trailer I had to dig out of the grass and it was missing the coupler. Without being able to identify anything about the trailer this part worked perfect! it is east to install, comes will everything but the tools for the job. Great product at an amazing price.

A contractor sheared the coupling latch off my trailer. Ordered this as replacement. Install was easy. Over tightened at first and it would not foot the ball. Loosened ever so slightly and it works like a dream. Better than the original

Makes an old trailer a breeze to hook up for $10.44

This is very reasonably priced and fixed the trailer coupler up nicely. Don’t mess around trying to fix an old coupler just order this for $10.44. It was easy to install and only took about 20 minutes.
