looks great

This has been installed for a couple of years. Still working, still looks great. BE sure to keep the little allen wrench because you will need it to adjust the valve for more or less hot water. At first we could not get the water hot enough. When the plumber came to the house for another reason, he fixed it for us and now it gets too hot. Which is perfect.

We recently redid our kids/guest full bath and new fixtures were a must. Purchased used, so it did have a few dings. Black is hard because you can see every little ding and scratch and have to be incredibly careful during the installation or you’ll mark it up. But it is so so pretty and I just can’t give up my obsession with black accents! I’m really happy with how these pieces function, there has been no leaking, the handle turns so very smoothly and everything is working great! They are sturdy and metal and not cheap feeling or looking at a all. A little in the speedy side compared to other brands on here, but we had to stick with Delta to be comparable with the already installed plumbing and such. This is why I bought a used set. You really can’t tell unless your looking closely for flaws and my husband put as many dings and scratches into these while installing as they came with “used” and I saved a lot of money so it was with it. Overall, I am happy with them and would recommend.

Lovely. With one very odd thing...

I love this faucet. However, I’d like to point something out. When it arrived, the spout had a small scrape on it. I researched the exchange policy, then called Delta, as instructed. Delta sent a new spout immediately and all was great. The thing that was odd is that the spout that Delta sent (same part number, same appearance) is 100x better quality than the spout that was sent originally. The original spout was made of very flimsy coated metal and was very light in weight. The replacement spout is MUCH heavier (seriously 5 times heavier...and not in a bad way) and a completely different metal. It’s thicker. The push button is sturdier. Also, the original spout had a Delta “sticker” on it...in hindsight, it makes me wonder if the spout was a counterfeit version. I have no proof of that, and I’m not saying that...but it has definitely been in the back of my mind. The other 2 parts of the system seem to be just as sturdy as the replacement faucet, and we’ve had it installed and have used it daily with no issues for about 3 months. All in all, happy with the purchase and the exchange process, I just hope that all parts sent to future purchasers are of equal Delta-quality.

Great Set

It's unfortunate that everything is plastic now. All of the consumer products from all of the manufacturers are plastic now, so it's not just Delta. The shower arm and valve control are metal. Only the tub faucet is plastic. This kit was easy to install and includes the cartridge insert for the mixing valve (separate item). Pay attention to the instructions for the tub faucet installation with the slip on adapter because you may need to shorten the existing pipe sticking out of the wall if you're coming from an older slip on adapter. It's a trivial task, but important to ensure a proper fit for the new adapter. Use silicone lubricant on the o-rings like instructed and everything will go together perfectly. And don't forget your plumber's tape for the screw on components.

Faucet handle does not attach

Don’t buy. The screw to secure the handle to valve is not threaded correctly and does not screw in. Something that is supposed to take 10 minutes to install has taken over an hour and still not on. Poorly made to install

Great Replacement for old showers with Delta

I loved how easy it was to change out the silver shower and bath set to this matte black. This was a great buy!
