Great Costume - Crazy Large Hands
Today is Halloween! I got this costume for my almost 4 year old son. He is very excited about being a skeleton. He is about 40 lbs and 42" tall - about average maybe a little larger. I got the child small size. I read the reviews and hoped for the best with this one. I like the costume and the 3D bones. It fits a little large but that's ok for me. It actually does glow in the dark but very faintly. It's like the stars you put on the wall. Immediately after the light is turned off they glow, but give it a few minutes and they fade to dark. If you are wanting something to glow while trick or treating in the dark this is not going to work for you. Not to mention, the back of the costume is completely black. Glow sticks will help. The hands were the only real issue I had with this costume . The hands are ridiculously large - even for an adult. I actually took them apart, cut them down to size, and sewed them on a smaller glove. This works much better. (see photo submitted) The head is great but not sure how long my son will keep it on. Nothing wrong with the costume - my child doesn't even like to wear hats for any length of time.

AMAZING, Glow In The Dark Tip !!
This product is AMAZING. About a week ago I went to the Spirit Halloween store and bought a similar costume for about $40.00. The one I bought in that store was very poor quality the bones were glued on and were falling apart, I plan to return that costume. The one I bought here on Amazon, Rubies, this costume is just amazing. Outstanding . The bones are 3D and very good quality and stitched on, not glued. The product did run big in my Son. He is going to be 6, he is on the skinny side and long, about 43 inches, 3ft7 and on the lean side. . Luckily I know someone who can make it fit snug, the costume is very full and wide, so just needs some snugging, if that’s a thing. Anyway, the BEST thing to do for the Glow In The dark effect is to expose the costume to a Black light. Regular light inside a home or sunlight just won’t cut it, I’m experienced with glow in the dark things and how they work. Black lights bring out the glow. Trust. I’d caution on sizing though, if you know someone who can adjust clothe sizes go for it.

Pretty neat costume
Son chose because it glows in dark (needs sunlight exposure before wearing though). Pretty easy to wear. I purposely ordered up a size because my kids love dress up play and keep their costumes after halloween. So it is a little big on him, but expected that. However, the hands are HUGE.... even when costume is a perfect fit, I believe the hands will be way too big for him. Costume can be worn without the hands though, and still a cute costume. Might see if I can alter the hands to fit better, but not a huge problem for us.

Great body costume but not so great mask or gloves
The body portion of the costume is great, and the bones aren't just drawn on to a black jumper, which I think is usually how it's done. The bones on this costume are rubber-like and actually protrude from the body, making it look extra cool. I bought this costume for my 5 yr old, and the mask was not comfortable enough for him to wear, which was fine because I painted a skeleton face on him. The gloves were also waaaaay too big for his hands, so we definitely could not wear them, but this was also okay since he needed total mobility of his hands to hold his halloween bucket and get candy with. However, face mask and gloves aside, the costume is pretty great.

Decent quality, awkward fit.
Ours just arrived today. I bought for my 4 year who wanted to be something scarey. He's 44 inches tall, and 43 pounds. I bought the small (4-6) hoping he would have room. The length JUST fits him (a little snug in the inseam) but it's very wide for him (it seems disproportionate, short and fat costume). As other reviewers stated, the gloves are riduculously large - like an adult size large (why on earth would they be so big for a kid's costume?). They are even too big for me. The bone molding is a nice 3D pattern but seems heavy for the nylon jumpsuit it's attached to (causing it to pull a little on the jumpsuit). The mask is a complete over the head hood, but the eyes, nose and mouth are big so he can breath well. The mask does have a strong smell, but we have time to air it out, so we'll see if the smell gets any better. Overall my 4 year old loves it because it makes him look scarey. As for the quality, it's decent, but the fit is awkward. (see picture)

Good for the price, runs big.
This was good for the price, I think it was $18 when I got it. My daughter loves it, she thinks she's super scary, but it does run big. She's 44 lbs and about 47 inches tall, and it's just about right. The midsection with the ribcage is a hair big, but not bad enough to not wear. She said the mask is uncomfortable, but it fits her head fine. I think she's just not used to wearing a skeleton mask. Anywho, this was a fine costume and worked well for halloween. I'd recommend it just make sure to get the correct size.

I bought this for my grandson--he loved it. He's a small 5yr old and I was concerned about the fit. So often the measurements given are not accurate, however this time it was. The bones were "weighted" because the material is quite thin, but he didn't care and he wore clothes underneath to keep him warm. The mask was a bit annoying for the same reason, but he didn't complain much about that either. The reason I gave it 4 and not 5 stars was because of the quality of the material (which, in all honesty, I expected) and also because it was advertised that the bones glowed--they didn't. If it were up to my grandson--he would've given it 5 stars!

Follow the size chart and you should be fine
My son LOVES this costume. He feels very scary in it. As other reviewers had mentioned, the mask is a bit smelly but it aired out and is fine now. My son is almost six, and is very tall and skinny. I measured him twice following the company’s size chart and and he was clearly a small according to the chart. I ordered a small, worrying it would be too short. It fits him well and is long enough (just barely). I think the medium would have been too baggy on him.

Esta muy padre el disfraz pero, no le quedó a mi hijo de 5 años la talla chica, como los “huesos” son de plástico, le incomodó. Si quedara el tamaño exacto sería muy buen disfraz porque brilla en la oscuridad.
