I love the way they look

I love the way they look, but they take on water and eventually float crooked. The paint peels after a few days in the water.

Not realistic

I ended up returning these. They are not realistic at all and one seemed distorted. I think, as others suggest, they might look okay if submerged in some way to rest on bottom of pond but that requires drilling holes and I didn't want to attempt

Sunk them to look realistic. Good enough to fool neighborhood ducks.

Prior to purchasing these I read reviews that described the fish as floating. They seem to be made of a heavy resin/stone. However, they are hollow, water tight, and are buoyant. They float upright with half their body in the water and the other half above the water. That would be great if these were figurines of ducks. I asked my husband to help me drill 2 separate ¼” holes in each of their bellies so that they would fill up with water and sink to the bottom of our pond. We used masking tape to reduce the chances of chipping them while drilling. 2 holes each ensures that the water will drain out when we take them out of the pond. I realize this completely any warranty or return possibilities. They look absolutely perfect!!!! I couldn’t have asked for better. We named them Goldie and Spot. My young adult children think I’m nuts…… Funny thing, we suddenly have a few ducks that come to visit our new fish. The put around our pond, keep diving down, and then finally move on.

Fish without the Fuss

I bought a pair of the Koi sculptures for my dry pond. The details are very lifelike and are almost full size fish. Although I do not have water to put them in, the weight of the sculpture is hefty enough to stay put once placed. I only wish that they came in many different color choices because I would purchase more.

These float on top of water NOT under the surface ...

These float on top of water NOT under the surface as pictured. So unrealistic and unnatural it is the opposite of tasteful. I would be embarrassed to have these in a pond. - As bathtub painted toy they are 5 star quality and function.

The Koi's coloring is beautiful!

I really liked the way the koi looked pretty authentic. The only thing is, the paint discolors when I put it in the pond. The pond contains chlorine, so it causes the paint to change. I still like it in the pond, and the Kois float perfectly midway and looks realistic!

Remove "floating" from the product name

These didn't float as indicated in the description...sank right to the bottom
