No sdk, but the perfect first drone
I’m rewriting this review after further use. This is the ideal drone for a newbie who wants to learn to fly a quality drone with gps and integrated flying aids. It manually flies the same as the 4k Dji models but can only record at 1080p and 2.7 k. It can do some limited predefined flying patterns or quick shots, but ideally this drone is perfect for getting in beginner stick time with the drone in view. The biggest negative is Dji is currently taking the position of not releasing a developers kit or license for this drone and as such it will not (currently) work with map waypoints or with automated subject following. As such this drone will be trickier to fly out of the pilots view.

I love this drone so easy to use, even if you’ve never flown you can have this in the air in 30 minutes or so, takes fantastic video, gps lock is dead on, RTH works very well I usually land within 2-4 feet of landing pad, long distance on this is great except till you enter a no fly zone, goes into a forced RTH , but you can unlock the zones in the DJI fly app. I would recommend this drone to anyone wanting to get into drone flying, like I said they practically fly themselves. My next is the mini 3 pro, have fun

Great buy
I previously bought a cheap drone and it honestly ruined the drone experience until now. This drone is amazing. It is extremely easy to control, images are surprisingly crisp and have minimal lag on transmission, responses are quick and never once felt that i wasn't in control. I've logged about a hour of use so far. The ONLY complaint rn is the laughable instructions provided. I think all guides should be online just to minimize paper consumption but there could be a qr code printed that leads to instruction manual. All included literature was legal docs and diagram of drone. The app is very informative and will audibly notify user of important notifications. I think the real star of the show is the controller. This thing is a brick but well designed and has amazing range and everything is properly located for its purpose and comfortable in the hand. The app has a lot of features to explore and will update if anything else is needed.

Amazing for the price!!
I’m new to drones and a co-worker got one of these DJI minis and I have herd of DJI before and told myself if I ever get a drone it will be a DJI and for $339! Can’t beat it. I have done 6 flights already and just got it today. So far is it great, fun and easy to fly! I have already decided my next drone will be another DJI maybe a mini 3 pro but this mini 2 SE is great for beginners! Great job DJI!!

Small, Excellent Quality, Fun to Use
I use this product *only* for recreational purposes - it's small enough that you don't have to worry about obtrusive noise, the camera is excellent (if you're looking for high-quality video, switch to Mini 2 - I use the SE mainly for photos, which are the same quality as my phone), and the overall user experience is, to use a lame word, delightful. Highly recommend this for those looking to see what the drone hype is all about, and who just want one around as a tool in the toolbelt.

DJI is the gold standard for beginners. The Mini SE is the best deal for function.
There's a lot of drone manufacturers but DJI gets it right. They are legendary for a reason. Performance is terrific. Support is good. If you own a cheaper drone and go to the Mini you will understand. Just do all the research about flying until you feel confident. Know all you can know about this great drone before use. I bought this one as an Amazon return. Unfortunately it is registered to someone else. DJI support tried to get the previous owner to de-register it so I could link it to my email but it didn't happen and DJI won't do it. Amazon personnel probably didn't know about this issue before (re)selling it as a good return. I'll just live with it being registered to someone else. Firmware updates still happen. I just use separate controllers.

Great unit, especially for beginners
I tried the Ruko F11PRO, total junk ended up returning it and buying this unit. night and day difference. the DJI is super easy to fly, takes awesome videos and pictures. Camera is very steady (not the case with the Ruko). only thing I'm not a huge fan of is setting up the remote, you have to install the joysticks every (not a big deal just a little annoying and I worry about dropping one). However, this does make the remote very portable and I don't worry about breaking it when transporting. Overall, great unit, I am fully sold on DJI.

Trust me when I tell you. I can't fly drones I'm not even close to a professional.But this drone is very easy to use if I can do it believe me you can do it.

Great drone for beginners
I wanted to buy a drone for a beginner and after some research based on weight,usability, and pricing I brought the DJI mini SE. I'm really pleased with the drone as it's easy to fly once understand the basic mechanics and controls . My first flight was in my apartment but I wouldn't recommend this as it's ended up crashing into things. It needs space. Since this I've take out to the local park and the pictures and videos are great for a beginner. I went out even when it was windy and it still manage to take some good footage. The only problem I have is that you lose connection frequently, so I haven't flown it that far as it returns back to automatically when you lose connection I think this is down to living in a city. Looking forward to taking this less built up space

Excellent introductory drone
I’m a total novice, and I heard good things about the DJI brand, and this was available at a good price. You also don’t need a license to fly it either. It was very easy to set up, the app was simple to use and everything is obvious. I was off and flying in no time. Flying is simple and requires little by the way of experience. There’s no latency between drone movement and what you see on your smartphone screen. Very quiet as well. I absolutely love flying this little thing, it’s a perfect introduction. A couple of downsides - it doesn’t have its own box, so you’re either going to need to keep in the box it came with or pay out for something. Extra batteries appear to be an issue - I’ve yet to find any, and those that are available are heavier than the one provided which knocks it over that all important 250g. You will need a memory card - you can’t seem to store a flight recording directly onto your phone. If you’re on the fence about this - just go for it. Well priced, robust, lightweight, easy to use, great for a novice, don’t even think twice!

Amazing Drone, Just Buy It.
I have been thinking about purchasing a drone for some time now after my friend got one. I was quite skeptical and I, as a person with purpose, needed this device to be useful. I could understand that it was quite fun, but I needed a use for it to justify the 400 dollar price tag (with tax). After looking at a bunch of different drones in the 100-250 dollar price range, I realized that they were pretty much just for fun and hobbies use. What I discovered is that, if you are to buy a drone and are on a tight budget, either don't buy one or buy this one. After using it a few times I can completely recommend this drone from a skeptical point of view. The main differentiating factor between this drone and other cheaper drones is a few things. Firstly, the quality. DJI makes the best and also most expensive drones in the world. When a high-quality company makes a cheaper product you can be sure that a lot of the technology and know-how from higher-end drones trickles its way down to the cheaper models. This means that the value is very good. Secondly, these DJI drones are known for their very excellent cameras. With this drone, you are not just getting a camera for which you can see what the drone sees (a necessity for flying) but rather an aerial photography device. The camera is so good you could absolutely think of this drone as a flying camera. Really, I would rate it about as good as a point-and-shoot or an iPhone 12. Another thing to note about the camera is that it is on a gimble, so your photos and videos will be crystal clear and right on point. The colour accuracy from the drone's camera is phenomenal. Lastly, with a drone like the DJI MIni SE you are getting a premium product, and you can feel that. The app is amazing. The controls are well thought out. It's just fantastic. Long story short, other drones are just not worth your money. More expensive drones like the Mini 2 (while good) are very expensive. These drones won't break the bank while providing a spurious experience.

Faltaban componentes dentro del producto.
Después de recibir el producto y revisar el contenido veo para mi asombro que de las 3 baterías solo vienen 2. Lo mismo pasa con los cables, de 3 cables de conexión solo hay 2, falta el de conexión a IOS (iPhone) que es el que yo necesitaba. Ya para rematar, casi ni le había dado importancia, faltaban componentes que debían ir en el pack tales como tornillos y destornillador. Me parece increíble que puedan mandar un producto con estas deficiencias y, lo que es más preocupante, es que muy posiblemente,si faltan las piezas, es que ya lo haya usado alguien anteriormente con lo que de producto nuevo tiene poco. No es un producto especialmente barato, al menos para mi, y no creo que sea lógico que puedan mandarlo en estas condiciones.
