Man these coins are great

They are what they is
Coins are nice and weighty, and cold to the touch. The denominations are overall fairly easy to differentiate. The only issue I have with them is that the edges aren't tapered, so playing on a flat surface necessitates clawing under the coins to get a hold of them. Would recommend a soft play surface if possible.

High quality addition to Scythe!
I've been playing Scythe for years and it's only become more fun with time. I enjoy it so much that I've gifted the base game (both the physical board game and digital copies on Steam) to friends that also quickly grew to love it. I bought the realistic resources for $30+ earlier this year, but held off on the coins. Let's be real, both products add $60+ to an already pricey board game. Finally, the coins were on sale for under $30, so I jumped at the deal and they arrived today. Simply put, these coins enhance the gameplay experience. They look and feel high quality, and have a nice weight to them. They have slightly varied levels of factory-tarnishing/aging, which adds to their realism. I'm really impressed. Unfortunately, the shipping box was too big (with only a bag of air as padding), and the coins are weighted enough that the main product bag opened on the side and two of the five smaller bags also burst opened. I could hear a bunch of loose coins jangling around inside before I even opened it... and I dreaded the worst. But the coins survived with only a few minor dings and scuffs! No chipping or deep gashes. Seriously heavy duty! I got in touch with customer service (my order was sold by Amazon) and they helped with the issue. Rather than go through the trouble of repackaging and returning it, I decided to keep them and placed each set in sturdier bags, which honestly looks better anyway. Besides the poor packaging and damaged product bags, I'm glad I finally bought these and recommend the product. I'll likely be reordering another in the future, hopefully in better gift-able condition.

Missing many of each coin type! Updated!
The product looks great and is exactly what I was wanting to use for game play. Unfortunately the coin counts aren't correct. The unopened package said 10 x $20 and I got only 6; 15 x $10, 15 x $5, 15 x $3 but I only got 10 of each; and 25 x $1 but only 18 in the bag. I'll update with a picture when I get to my main computer, but for now I'm hoping the manufacture can replace the missing coins so I can up the rating. If not, then I'll return them and the rating will stand. Update: I returned the order with the missing coins and received a new package which was complete. I would still remove a star for the delay, but that was not the fault of the vendor. I have since used these coins in game and they definitely add to the enjoyment.

Love these metal coins!
Scythe is probably our favorite game. We've painted the minis and own the Invaders from Afar and Rise of Fenris expansions. These coins take it to a new level. Highly recommend.

Rrequired add-on, and don't let anyone tell you differently
If you like Scythe you must get these coins to go with it. I'm telling you, these are a must-have. Don't even think twice about it. Go ahead and click that order button. You're not gonna regret it. And if your friends tell you that you wasted your money on this dumb board game add-on, you need new friends. Maybe just don't play Scythe with them anymore. Instead, play Scythe with your neighbor, Carl, with the golden-doodle. He knows how to have a good time. And I bet if you invite him over for a game on Saturday he won't be complaining, especially if you offer him lunch. You might need to provide dinner as well, because this game takes way too long. But anyways, you need these coins. They take this already great game from a 10 to an 11, or maybe even a 12.

Great at 35$, don't pay markups
If you want some metal coins with a great texture, and you can pick these up for 35-40$, they're worth it. If your budget is lower, poker chips are a great alternative. If your budget is higher, I hear Iron Clays are good. This is a fantastic product, seriously, but make sure you're picking it up for a fair price.

Great if a bit overpriced
The coins are a great piece of bling for your game of Scythe. I didn't think I would care for these before I played with them via a friend's copy. The product is a metal that feels authentic and has good weight to it, but won't smell or dirty your hands the same way actual coins do (at least we haven't noticed over several games). The coins are a bit expensive for what they are though, making me wish I bought these are part of the original Kickstarter. I would only get these if you have all the expansions and the board extension for Scythe, and you really like the game.

Authentic feel
I actually got these to play Gloomhaven/DnD with. They’re not exactly made for those games, but they function just fine! They are good quality... so much nicer to be dealing with these metal coins than the cardboard ones in Gloomhaven. Overall I’m very happy with this purchase.

Cool Set of Game Coins!
