Good for men. Good for anybody
These have a nice masculine smell. I think that's the cedar-wood poking through the mango smell, which gives it just a tad of masculinity to an otherwise fruity soap. This is as most liquid soaps go for me. It's easy to use too much, but the smell is nice so you don't worry too much about it. You lather it on, you rinse it off, you towel off, and then you forget about the soap altogether. I can say I don't feel like I have dry skin so that's nice. But the smell of the soap quickly dissipates. I don't smell like mangos all day. Some of you might think that's a good thing. I disagree. I wish I always smelled like mangos and cedar-wood. The soap is fine, get it, you won't be disappointed. But don't expect to smell like fruit cocktail after.

Thick lather and strong mango scent indeed
I normally do not use fruit scented soap. Being a Vine member, I was given the opportunity to try these for my honest opinion. My wife and I trust Dove products in the past. This Dove Men+Care body wash intrigued me since it offered extra hydration and skin nourishment with their 24HR micromoisture formulation. You can use this for your face and body. The soap makes a thick lather easily and it has a very strong mango scent. I have no idea what cedarwood smells like but center stage is definitely the mango scent. I would not say I feel as refreshed if I used a minted soap for example. This mango soap does clean though. It will probably take me a few more times using it to get accustomed to the fruitiness scent surrounding you while bathing. After drying off, the scent disappears which I am grateful for. I do not sense the skin drying up hours afterwards. Whether it holds up to 24 hours is subject to many variables. I generally apply lotion after bathing to sensitive spots like knees and elbows and always glad there are soaps for men that help skin care for the rest of the body. For me, this Dove product does well with cleansing and skin moisturizing. I took one star off for the mango scent being too strong while bathing. I will be looking to see if they are offered in other scent combinations since I still like the results. 4 Stars!

Refreshing Scent!
I love the way this product smells! It has a very fresh scent and awakens the senses, but there is still a distinct masculine presence. It's quite enjoyable to use. The body wash lathers nicely and feels good on the skin. It did a great job of making my skin feel hydrated and nourished, unlike many bar soaps. I also like the fact that it is gentle enough to be used on the face. The bottle has a flat cap which helps to keep it standing upright in the shower, plus the bottle is 100% recycled material. The cap is sturdy and doesn't open freely on its own, so there isn't a risk of unexpected leakage. And for those of us who are concerned about animal cruelty, it's PETA approved. Great product!

Nice shower gel, pleasant aroma but a bit syrupy
I prefer shower gel over bar soap because I find most bar soap really drys out my skin. It also leaves a lot of soap residue inside our shower. I primarily use Old Spice but thought I'd give Dove Men+Care a try. AROMA It's very strong mango when you squeeze from the bottle, a lot of tropical notes. The cedar wood isn't really noticeable. However, post shower I found that the cedar wood smell was what tended to linger on my skin. During the shower the aroma is a bit too syrupy for my liking but it's not a deal breaker. LATHER Nice lather in our hard water. I did find that the consistency to be a little bit too runny/stretchy for my liking but no biggie. AFFECT on SKIN Did not leave my skin feeling dry post shower. After a week of use I'll revise and provide an update if I find that I have any dry skin issues. It's worth noting that my son's skin did not like Dove very much and he stopped using. Everyone is different so you'll have to try and see. Overall a good shower gel, but only 4 stars because the aroma is a bit too heavy on the tropical.

Good Lather & a Nice Scent
It seems like this time every year at the end of February, my significant other complains about how dry his skin is. I try and get him to use lotion, but honestly body wash is the only thing I know he will use every day. I saw this Dove body wash with micromoisture technology that is supposed to provide hydration all day. This sounded like just the product for him. I’m happy to say that so far he likes everything about it. The scent, the lather, and he is familiar with other Dove products, which is always a good thing. He hasn’t said that his skin is more hydrated yet, but he’s only been using it for less than a week. He really likes this body wash so that to me is a win. The company states that even the driest skin will be transformed in just one shower. I asked him if he thought that his skin had improved that quickly and he couldn’t say yes. But he does like it and plans to keep using it and if it does improve his dry skin, it will become a five star product. Time will tell.

Nice big bottles, mango scent
Nice set of moisturizing Body Wash from Dove Men, in a mango and cedarwood scent. I found this more to be mango smelling than cedarwood. Cleansing and hydrating, makes the skin feel good. 4 Pack should last a long time, especially as the bottles themselves are quite large.
