Great scissors - if - they didn't rust

I loved these scissors and was so excited to get them and start using them. I have had them 4 months and they have lots of brown spots on them. I did email the mfg but haven't heard back from them. If they hadn't gotten spotty I would give them 10 out of 5.

SERIOUS Scissors

My kitchen scissors that live in the "catch all drawer" were looking pretty skuzzy. Since they have to be close to 20 years old, I felt like it was time for a new pair- and maybe an upgrade. BOY did I find it! I've been pleased with almost everything I've purchased from Joseph Joseph, and this is no exception. These suckers are heavy duty and worth twice the price Amazon is selling them for. Among other things- like the separate for easy and thorough cleaning- I am amazed at how sharp these are. Obviously, my old kitchen scissors were more dull than I realized. I just wish Joseph Joseph would embrace some color other than this drab shade of green. Truth be told, green isn't a color I am particularly fond of- but their green is extra unappealing. If the quality wasn't there, I wouldn't still be buying their products.

this is a VERY sharp pair of scissors, works like razors. Just be very careful when using it coz it's SOOO sharp.

Doesn't do its job well

I normally love this brand because the products are well designed and work great. This one fell short of the mark with functionality. My older, cheaper kitchen shears still outperforms this one. I don't recommend it.

Absolutely love these!

This is the best kitchen scissors I've ever owned. Very well made and cut like a dream. The herb stripper was a plus. I just bought another pair for my mom, since she has a drawer full of scissors that don't work at all by comparison!

Really like these.

Got these just in time for preparing Christmas dinner. I had 2 chickens to cook. Cut/Removed wing tips, neck to make broth for gravy. Tried other meats & bone cutting afterwards. Very handy, easy to clean and a good price.

a little disappointed

These scissors are very sharp and I am very satisfied with them functionally. They were advertised in "very good" condition, that seems a stretch to me. The blades themselves seem very good, however, the handles have multiple deep scuffs.

Best kitchen scissors I’ve had.

Nice scissors, have cut anything I’ve asked them to. Love how they separate so you can get them really clean so no rotting food stick in the centre mechanism. TBH Joseph Joseph have yet to disappoint in anything I’ve bought of theirs.

Good Kitchen scissors - Yes, Poultry Shears - No

I personally like these kitchen scissors for the jobs I need them for around the kitchen. However, they are not poultry shears by any means, even the shape and design of these scissors look nothing like a tool for sectioning a chicken. I guess they may suffice to section a cornish hen at best. But if you want to use them to sandwiches, sliced meat, pancakes and other like items that are soft, then rest assured they'll do the job. Plus the are easy to cleanup since they come appart with very little effort. I recommend these scissors for most of your kitchen scissor type jobs. But I would not uses them for sectioning an average sized chicken. If you do need to section poultry, do look up, "poultry shears", and you will notice that these are not poultry shears by any means.
