Cheap Rod

This is my first bad review on ANY product. I own several fishing rods from cheap to expensive. I know that for the price I should not have expected a high quality rod & reel. The biggest flaw with this item is the plastic pieces that hold the reel in place are adjustable. They can move up or down across the length of the black handle The top one should have been set in place and the bottom one should have had some sort of way to spin upwards for a tight fit. Secondly the top hole on the rod is too wide. I feel it should have been narrower. I will most likely make some modifications. I actually bought this rod for my 5 year old so he could have a legitimate rod and not the toddler ones they sell at other stores.
