Part of the project extension cord.

This cover is clear and protects from the weather. It works quite well. With it in place, I can read the meter and see if the AFCI/GFCI protected outlet has tripped, which is nice when using tools outside.

Will not work with larger plugs

We have a 4 plug outlet on the floor in our Front Room. This worked great but I could only put 2 plugs in this case. 2 of my Connectors are about 1/4" off to fit inside this. It would be great to have the Case a bit larger to hold larger Connectors.

The box works as advertised but as some other reviews noted will not close if something is plugged in.

Good deal

The box is your average all weather box, it's not for extra long plugs, you would have to get extra deep all weather cover. For what I'm using it for it works. It's easy to install and includes a thick gasket to help it stay waterproof. It includes 6 screws to securely attach it to the box. I found this is cheaper price and just as good quality as the Big Box stores ones.

Electricity Gremlin begone

Welp, you know me. I wanted to keep electricity Gremlin out of my appliances. So I spent days looking for a solution. Nothing happened. So I somehow ran into this thing to block all annoying hands from touching my appliances through this outlet. And boy it made a huge difference! The best part that this thing does. It can lock! So if anyone wants to break in, they will have to smash this. Now my appliances are safe from all hands because of this box. Yeah I didn’t use it for outdoors… surprise surprise. Yeah we can also use this thing indoors. Never thought of that? Well now I made you think of that. Now go get yourself one. 5 out of 5 happy Gremlins ????????????????????

Lo compré para ahorrarme la instalación de la caja de un contacto wifi, casi no hice muchos cambios y estoy satisfecho ya que la caja se ve resistente, en cuanto al precio me pareció un poco caro pero al final creo que lo vale, todo quedó dentro de la caja.

A good quality weather resistant enclosure

This enclosure is robust and good quality,easy to install but the combination latch and padlock hasp doesn’t work very well, as when opening the lid you need to grasp the clear lid tag, but because the base (black) tag is directly underneath it, it precludes you lifting the lid. As I will not use a padlock on this enclosure,I am going to cut off the base tag to overcome this issue.
