Works while it works
This water filter is an excellent choice for those who rely on well water as their primary source of drinking water. The filter is incredibly efficient at removing sediment and dirt particles from well water. The water that comes out of the filter is crystal clear, and it has a refreshing taste that makes it a pleasure to drink. The installation of the water filter was very straightforward, and it was completed in a matter of minutes. The filter is compact and easy to maintain, which makes it an ideal choice for those who are looking for a low-maintenance filtration system. The best part about this water filter is that it provides clean and safe drinking water for my family. We no longer have to worry about contaminants in our well water, and we can enjoy the peace of mind that comes with knowing that we are drinking water that is free of harmful particles. Overall, I highly recommend this water filter to anyone who is looking for an effective and reliable way to filter dirt and sediment from their well water. We normally get about 3-5 weeks of use out of ours

The only filter we use
We have used this filter for years in our whole home water filter and it does a fantastic job. The P1 filter has no noticeable impact to water pressure and we change it out every month. It’s a great filter and I highly recommend it.

Get rid of the debris in the city water supply
Have been using it for >10 years - what I dislike is the difficulty in opening the canister and change the filter. That's why I assemble a ¾ threaded PVC pipe with a PVC quick connector in order to assemble/dis- the unit. I have to disconnect the PVC pipes with the quick connector and change the filters on a workbench. If not it is not possible to take out the filter. I have to use extra force with the wrench to open it. This is the only way to prevent leakage in my house water system. I also use some wax to seal off the canister to prevent leakage. This is because if not done so I have to do soldering of the copper pipes of the house water system. I have already experience it with a lot of damage.

Does what it was designed to do
10x4.5 - Works well for what it is supposed to do. We are on city water that always passes the EPA tests. After a few months, it collects a lot of sediment and rust. I cut it apart and fanned it out so you can see that it filters all the way through, not just on the outside. Of course this will not remove stuff like chlorine, but ours is not too bad and we have a fridge filter for the really fine filtration.

works great
So 20 years ago I bought my house. It came with a Culligan whole house water filter. Well you would be simply amazed at whats in your water. You might think you have the cleanest home water on earth til you have one of these... The city I live in constantly passes all these water tests but wow seeing is believing. It cant be my pipes cause well the pipes were replaced in full after being almost 50 years old and yup I still get dirty filters so it must be getting something from my water. Honestly I would never not have some water filter as even the fact that I have to only replace a filter every 60 days or so and I joke even my toilet water is filtered its the water thats going into our bodies that is not at least filtered and all you will say is WOW after 60 days on your water. we think we have good water til we try this. It might not be so successful on chemicals but I will take what I can get. I also love the people who say I never drink the water in the house. Yup and you dont take a shower or have a dish washer either.. for the $40 the unit cost me and the roughly $6 a month it cost me for a filter I will gladly change the filter.

Water filter
There is no flavour to this filter, they are a basic poly cheaper filter but I use them for brew filter beer. Works great.

Good value and does what it says
Exactly as described - removes sediment. Not bad filters for sand but I was expecting the water to be a little clearer than it is. If your water has more than a little sand you may want to upgrade the filter. They are inexpensive so I can't complain about value, even if the water is not quite as clear as I hoped.
