Description on box not match item

As I was removing the item from the box, I read the description which stated "Set screw locks flagpole into place". I hadn't noticed that on the description before I ordered so I thought - bonus! Then I pulled the item from the box and realized there is no set screw. I have attached a picture of each side of the pole for reference. If I could give a 4.5 star rating I would.

Good sturdy product.

I like this product overall. My only issue is I’m very limited to where I can install it. I have a fifth wheel and the only place to put it is under the tire. The problem is the tires on the passenger side are under the awning and the driver side the tires are under the slide out. My bad for not thinking that through.

Used and returned item shipped to me?

Mine arrived in a broken, partially open carton with the parts flopping around. The threads on the upright portion were pretty mangled but I finally got it mated to base. Sadly, I won’t be able to unthread it after use because I might not have enough good thread left to reassemble for the next use. It is useable as is but a pain to store so I wouldn’t be likely to buy another from this seller.

Good product if you use it correctly

Purchased this to fit a Harbor Freight flag pole. It does fit perfectly. It does bend with the wind and I was warned by prior reviews of that possibility. When using a 20 foot flagpole, you are going to get some bend unless you have a 1 inch piece of steel attached to the bottom. I do not want to carry that around. Easy fix: We put the flagpole under the front hitch jack of our camper. I use a 2x8 piece of scrap wood that covers the entire length of the stand. This seems to do a great job adding the needed support to the flag. I would buy this item again.
