These Are NOT Grippy Heritage Gloves

Unlike all other Heritage horseback riding gloves I've purchased (and worn to death), these are not at all grippy. The palm and fingers are a slippery, flat kind of synthetic plastic - not even close to the quality of good silicone grip when holding cold leather reins. I dislike having to keep shortening my reins, but my gelding is a good boy and doesn't take advantage. The gloves are, however, very warm.

Bulky around fingers

Bulky around fingers. Doesnt provide needed dexterity. Materials/construction feels low quality.

Not Warm, Even In The Arena

I bought these gloves for dressage. I do not like too much bulk due to rein control, and these are fine in that regard. The most important feature I was looking for is warmth. It gets cold in Michigan, and my fingers go numb from how cold they are within 10-15 minutes. I’ve learned my lesson and will be purchasing better quality winter gloves.

LOVE these gloves!

I am riding a 2 year this winter (25-40F) and VERY important to have a good feel on the reins. These gloves are a first for all the gloves I have tried over the years. I highly recommend this product for anyone who rides horses in the cold weather. Happy trails.

Good winter gloves

Keeps my hands warm when riding in winter while not taking away dexterity or feel of the horse. Not the best for chores/handling cold gates or pitchforks, but definitely my go-to winter glove. This is my second pair; the first one lasted several years before I wore a hole into them.

Perfect sizing!

These gloves fit well, they are thick enough to keep my hands warm without being in the way when holding the reins.

I have long fingers so the fingers don't fit exactly but these gloves are comfortable. Just be wary

Get outside in these gloves!

Mom uses these to walk her dog in cold weather. They’re warm, comfy and reinforced in all the right places!
