I thought these were boy sizes, assuming an XL would be either 10/12 or 14/16. They're actually TODDLER sizes! I ordered an XL for my oldest son and it was actually a size 7 (meaning for 7 year olds) in little boys, luckily my soon-to-be stepson wears that size so we'll keep it. So these sizes probably run L would be a 5/6, M would be a 4T-5T, S would be a 2T-3T.
