Good quality

I got an A1. It did not fit perfectly since my shoulders are a bit broad for my size, but it feels great in general.

The pants strap is falling apart after a few weeks of use, my old gi Sanabul Essentials V.2 is still in perfect condition after a year of use, but it is stiff and small whereas the Venum Contender 2.0 is comfy and light.

It’s okay, it’s a bit uncomfortable from the fabric it’s made of, but you get use to it, it doesn’t shrink that easily, so yeh,

Cuidado con las tallas

la calidad del gi es buena, un poco más ligero de lo que esperaba. Sin embargo se sentía muy resistente. No obstante, creo que es muy importante el verificar las tallas, siempre he comprado (en Koral y Fuji) A3, por lo cual pedí la misma talla, sin embargo me quedó pequeño.

Fits perfect

This Gi is very well made, it’s comfortable and you can feel the quality while drilling or rolling. And also looks real good!!!!!! You Can’t do better for this price.

Okay Gi. Wish it would lasted longer.

Well I did except it not to last that long maybe a year or so. But unfortunately it only lasted from Feb to July. The cotton seemed a bit thinner. I did washed 3 times a week though. Also dried it a few times until the top fitted just right. As for the comfort it was amazing. Logo was on point still fully in tacked. I love this Gi would buy it again.

Great quality and very stylish

It’s so hard to find a Gi anywhere but online nowadays! Went to a couple sporting goods stores and no one had any in stock. Venum brand is always amazing, don’t settle for less! We got a size A2 for my husband who is 5’ 9” 145 lbs- don’t forget these shrink the first wash and dry; if you have time, it’s best to air-dry instead of heat drying in a dryer.

Good product

Very light weight, good design and also very good that they do half sizes not like other brands. Ive bought an A2.5 and it’s perfectly fit. Venum the only brand who actually does half sizes. Cant wait to buy the new collection.

Decent bang for the buck

I'm not a newbie with only 1 gi. I have a black belt in Japanese jiu-jitsu and striped blue belt in BJJ. I own 6 other gis from Redstar, Kingz, Toraki and Fuji. I bought this as the $68 price was crazy cheap for an extra kimono. First IT'S NOT PRESHRUNK. When it came, I felt like a kid wearing one of his dad's shirts. I warm washed and medium dried the gi. The sleeves and pants shrunk about 2" each. The pants have a looser weave so shrink more than the top. Beware of this if pant length is critical. Once shrunk it fit well, but still a little long in the arm (I'm 165lb and 5'11" in an a2.5). The foam filled coller is stiff, but not quite as rigid as the ones on my Redstar or Toraki. Stretch panels sewed into the groin area of the pants creates an unusual seem location along the inner thigh. I'm not a big fan of that, but it didn't seem to impede me when rolling. Maybe it's because of the lightweight weave, but I found as the jacket material absorbs sweat and gets hot, sleeves tended to be able to stretch with my opponents grip. Makes it hard to fight the grip. I have about another inch of sleeve length I can afford to shrink and still keep the jacket competition legal. I'll give that a shot I'll throw it in the dryer one more time. So in short, it isn't a high level competition outfit, but a decent budget gi for workouts. Longevity is TBD.

The color is awesome, had some good rolls and It seems to hold up so far.
