Nice stove, very sturdy plenty of heat, it is very large. I found it to be too tall from the table and I was worried it could be knocked over when we were deep frying. After testing to see how hot it got underneath I found the table top was warm but not hot. I put various pieces of wood to find if it got hot because I wanted to lower the stove. To my surprise even with wood touching the bottom screw the underside still stayed warm but not hot. I lowered the stove by 2 1/2 inches (welding) and at the same time made a way to fasten the stove to the table so it will not tip over. For insurance I put a piece of aluminum between the table and the stove. Still works well and now is secured to the table. Good buy for us, much better than your typical camp stove. Oh, the cover is well worth it too.

Nice burner for canning
Plenty of heat for pressure canning. Nice burner. Very sturdy and way to regulate.

Ok Burner
Pros: Strong burner, more than enough to boil 8 gallons of wort. Sturdy frame, no wobble or flex at all. Easy to set up, use and store. Cons: The bolt holding the burner was stripped and bent upon opening the box, burner was hanging. I replaced the bolt but then found that the burner bracket had been welded on crooked. The burner now sits slightly at an angle causing the flame to favor one side of my 10 gallon kettle. It still does the job, but on of these days I’ll have to cut off the bracket and re-weld it on square to the frame. The burner was also missing the tension spring that goes between the orifice and air damper. It’s really not needed anyway and works perfectly fine without it. Overall, it’s an ok burner for the price and works pretty well. If you’re looking for quality in material and workmanship, this burner is not for you. Also, be prepared to spend some time burning off the painted surface that comes in contact with the flame’s footprint. Again, for the price, it’s still an ok buy.

So happy with this! Worked great! To put it in perspective, I have a big heavy Dutch oven that held a 26lb turkey (2 of us have to lift this dutch oven once full) and this single burner didn’t even budge. Before I put this massive dutch oven on there with the turkey in it I had my daughter stand on it. When she was fine i decided I should stand on it. So for those that say it won’t hold heavy objects, don’t listen to them. This thing held up great and worked perfect. I splurged and bought the cover too. Definitely worth the money for this great cooking device. In the summer I’ll definitely be using it to can/water bath our summer goods with!

Sturdy and durable but burner head sits very deep
Overall, this is a decent product, but it's not perfect. First, the things I like: 1. Well built. I was never in fear that my pot would tip over or slide off or anything like that. It feels sturdy. 2. Easy to use. Simple, straightforward setup. This n00b was cooking within 10 minutes of taking it out of the box. Dislikes: 1. The burner head sits at the very bottom of the cylinder. I'm not sure of the physics of this, but I got the distinct impression that I needed to crank the power higher than I expected to in order to achieve the same temperature in the pot. On the flipside, flame is not coming out of the sides of the pot and burning your hand. Overall: For the money, this was a good buy and I'll probably hang onto it. But if I were doing it over, I would have looked for a unit with a burner head that sits closer to the pot itself.

Works for canning great
We've only used it one weekend for canning, and it was great. Plenty of heat, easy to control, and very sturdy.
