Good quality pair of boots

These boots are made from a good quality leather. Hard to find that these days. I've had the boots for almost 3 months now and everything seems to be holding up well. All the stitching and sole of the boot is still intact with no issues. Laces a still good. It was an uncomfortable break-in time for the boots of about 2 weeks. They were hurting my feet at first and I thought about returning them, but now they fit like a glove. It was mainly because the leather was so stiff, but again, it is a good quality leather. In combination with the steel-toe they were hurting my pinky toe a bit. That went away after they broke in. The boots started holding an odor from my feet, but I took care of that by removing the insoles and putting the boots plus insoles in the freezer for a day or two (kills any bacteria causing smell). After that, I also put a good amount of baking soda inside the boots the next day to absorb any remaining odor and shook them up real good. Let that sit for a day and knocked out the excess baking soda out. Took care of the odor. I will say to buy a better pair of insoles from the manufacturer Georgia Boots because the ones these come with are very thin. Definitely find a better pair of insoles. Just trace the pattern of the factory insoles onto the new ones you get. Also, it seems these boots fit best with the pant legs tucked inside of them and laced up. If that isn't your style then you might want to reconsider because the calf part of the boots are kind of big. Or maybe I just have skinny calves..Not a problem for me as I always tuck my pant legs inside my boots anyway. I like to show them like that and it's just what I do. Personal preference. I've gotten several compliments on these boots. They definitely look like a man's boot. These are also a narrow boot. They do fit true to size, but if you know you have a wide foot then I would order a wide size. I will probably buy these again without the steel-toe and try those as well. No issues with water getting inside as of yet. Wear a thick pair of socks with these boots for added comfort. All-in-all, I will give these boots four stars **** because they are very good quality work boots which is hard to find these days. I will probably buy again.

It's decent

Decent low heel logger boot. I've only had them for about a month but so far so good. A lot of padding around the ankle which for me make them a little uncomfortable around the ankle and shin ,was not expecting that. I kind of prefer less padding but that's just me. Definitely need time to break in. Not totally sure if they're worth the price but I suppose overall not a bad boot. I wear a size 10 and they fit nicely.

Love Georgia boots

I neglected my last pair and the upper cracked all the way through and my feet stayed dry for 3 months after the warranty expired and i gave the boots away to one of you laborers and he still wears them and wont buy another pair. I bought us both a new pair. These boots are tough. Indestructible if you coat the toe and keep of with oiling. If you hear something bad about Georgia boot I'd consider the source.

Fits wide

Needed a size 9 instead of 9 1/2. 9 1/2 would be was fine length wise but it was way too wide. They fit a little long also so the size 9 is ok length wise. Even the 9 was a little wider than I would like.

Solid performing work boot - like them better than Danner Quarry USA

These are solid boots. I use them daily on my volunteer work - trail construction/maintenance and Habitat for Humanity. Haven't rated them 5 star as I haven't had them long enough to know how they will perform in a variety of environments. For example, I have not had them in a water environment to test the protection nor in the heat. The original footbed is great as is the steel toe. Despite having a coworker prematurely drop a piece of granite, I had no injury to my foot. I recommend these for those that have the need for a good work boot.
