this lipstick is wrongly described as pink velvet ! Actually it is a strong brownish red, I have also bought a Revlon lipstick called Pink in the afternoon, that is also a softer red

Good luscious lipstick.

I usually get this lipstick. I am very pale skinned and this colour, soft silver rose, seems to be the right colour for me, gives a rosey colour to my lips and cheeks, brightens me up nicely. Thank you for reading my review, I do hope it helped you.

Item crushed beyond use.

Not fit for purpose,damaged to extent of non extraction of lipstick. How it got like that is beyond me,warped like someone stomped on it,case not cracked but metal underneath crushed to oval shape. Seller wants photos,but this would not show up in photo with its shiny case,what a lot of bother for a cheap lipstick. Won't recommend.

Be careful choosing your colour

It's always difficult buying lipstick online and I don't do it very often. What seems the right colour on the screen often proves to be too dark or too light 'in the flesh' This goes on nicely and seems long lasting. It is in a black case with a see-through end. It was too bright for me, therefore only two stars for flattering.

I often purchased Revlon lipsticks in the shops and this particular shade regularly. To my surprise it has been removed from the shops, together with other lovely shades, I was delighted therefore to find it on line and will reorder as required. Revlon lipsticks are excellent quality, soft and durable and this shade is particularly flattering.
