Worked great as a cross-brace for a table

My husband was building me a new kitchen table and he wanted to cross brace it underneath. I bought two of these and they worked great. He just put them on the table and ran a board across to either brace, screwed them in and was done. They are heavy and appear to be well made.

Very poor spot welding

The brackets themselves SHOULD BE sturdy if they were spot welded properly. But they aren't! One of the two was pretty good but the second one was in pieces in the package. So I'm having to return one, causing a delay in getting the urinal partition repaired. The spot welding is very poor on these. They were made in Taiwan according to the package
