Great small-box intro to Ascension
If you are curious about Ascension and you are ok with 2p only (which is the best player count anyway) this is an excellent way to get your feet wet. You get a fully featured based set that is pretty vanilla (but that's what you want when you start out) and has enough components for two players. The small box is also very nice, you may want to get this as a travel sized kit even if you are an experienced player.

Fun Tmes!
I love that this is sort of the "Greatest Hits" of Ascension. This is pretty simple; none of crazy events/cards that pop up with other Ascension expansions. Perfect for 2 players, which is what I needed for most times I play. Wish the board was a little bigger (really... honor tokens cannot be placed on board where labeled). This version best suited for beginner players.

Such a fun game. This is the two-player edition but can be combined with other sets to have up to 6 players.

The game needs balanced
There are to many cards that are to over powered to sway the game in a direction that is almost impossible to come back. There for rather then new you should focus on balancing the game

Fun Game
I got this for my teen son and he enjoys playing with his friends. It's easy to learn and the game is short enough that they can play without losing interest and there's minimal discussion and squabbling. This is the 2 player version. Having one deck makes it easy to travel with but it needs a bit of space to play so playing on an airplane for instance can be a challenge. This was a good starter set to begin with since we can purchase the expansion sets and play as a family.

Nice Introduction to a Classic Game
Ascension is one of my favorite card games, but at this point there are so many sets to choose from that it's hard to know where to get started. If you're curious about the game, and would rather use real cards than try the digital version, this box is perfect for you. It's a souped-up version of an older 2-player starter set, which included cardboard tokens and a less interesting selection of cards in a very flimsy little box. This version has plastic tokens and a better variety of cards in a decent quality (albeit larger) box, for the same MSRP! (In fact, as I write this, the new version is on sale for even less.)

Pensé que el idioma sería un problema, pero con inglés básico y/o un traductor, se juega excelente. Recomendado para todos aquellos que les gustan los juegos de construcción de mazos.

Excelente juego a dos jugadores.
Me gusta el hecho de que sea muy portátil, es solo para dos jugadores, pero está bien porque es el número recomendado para jugar cualquier ascensión.
