Very nice look

A 5-star look but had to ding it 1 star for the mounting bracket. There’s a top/btm orientation which is easy to see by test preassembling. Installed the bracket properly, but the set screw wouldn’t hold the towel ring. It kept pushing away from the wall. A cpl of attempts and I realized that the set screw was travelling behind where it was supposed to contact and lock the piece. I bent the bracket slightly and that worked. My wall surface is fine, so I shouldn’t have had to make even a minor mod. Other than that, very happy with the purchase.

Design & finish match the faucet set (same mfgr) perfectly! Easy install to replace other ring that was there.

nice quality

Good quality, sturdy towel ring. Has a nice finish but there are plastic stoppers sticking out of the sides at the top where the ring hangs from the escutcheon; I know they serve a purpose but it would be an added bonus not to see them though I would buy another for overall quality either way.

Ugly plastic bits showing.

There are two plastic parts where the ring goes into the ball. They look terrible and aren't in the pictures or mentioned in the instructions. I thought maybe they were just for shipping, to keep the ring from getting scratched, so I tried removing them. Even worse. The ring is completely free to rattle and rotate and there's a huge gap in it. So they're definitely not just for shipping. Otherwise, it's very nice heavy brass, matches our Kingston brass faucet and toilet paper holder. But I'll have to return it because of the plastic parts. I think they could have come up with a better solution to hide the plastic, captive inside the ball.
