We are the family that purchases expensive blankets and each family member has their own special one. My 5 year old fell in love with this cat! It really looks spectacular on his bed! Its very soft but thinner than our usual purchases. I have laundered it twice on a delicate cycle and let it line dry (country folk) and its has maintained its beauty thus far. I will come back and follow up if I experience any issues with this product in the future. Thus far, we are pretty pleased with it! I would consider a second purchase, the images are very very nice. The image is less vivid on one side than the other, but not considered to be an issue. CUDDLE FACTOR IS A 10!

I wondered what "Micro Raschel" meant
I was hoping this blanket would be like the NFL designs "Royal Plush Raschel" blankets. If you look at the picture of the tag/label, it says "Royal Plush Raschel". However, I did see the Amazon product name mentioned "micro" -- hmmmm? Well, for the price (which was good -- under $11), I thought I'd give it a try. Please know the "micro" does indeed describe this product. The plushiness is not like the regular NFL type Royal Plush Raschel. It is a low plush or micro plush. Is it soft? -- Yes! But not as cozy as the normal Royal Plush blankets -- bummer. That being said, I still intend to give it to my daughter as a gift. I think she will still enjoy it. But it isn't quite what I was hoping it was -- so if you are wondering, too. That's the scoop with "micro."

Makes A Nice Accent For A Drab Couch; Laundered Great
I got this blanket to fit a big cats theme for a room. Specifically, to decorate a rather drab-looking couch when it's not in use. Works great! Just the effect I was looking for. I didn't find any rips or tears right out of the packaging. Just be careful and precise when cutting off the binding ties. Before use, I followed the instructions to machine wash in cold water, delicate cycle, and I used ordinary Gain detergent. Then tumbled dried on low heat (called medium/auto on my dryer) with softener sheets. Both the fabric and its color held up great and it was even softer after laundering. I consider it a great deal for the price.

BEAUTIFUL
This blanket was even more beautiful than expected. My grand daughter loves it and now a couple of my friends want one. May be ordering more for Birthday gifts. It is not only beautiful, it is so soft and it washes great. I am definitely satisfied with this order.
