Still holding value for beginners & experienced players
This is such a fun set to play! I love that the packs I bought came double wrapped with clear wrapping so I could see the theme before opening. I love that they are double wrapping, it's another nice way to ensure there are no hustlers out there re-packing this.

Such a fun set, for beginners and long time players
This is such a fun set. I've been playing magic the gathering since 7th edition, but recently got back into the game a few months ago and have played commander exclusively since getting back into the game. Commander is fun but can get complicated with newer players and can also get pretty competitive. I've been looking for new formats to play that would be fun, yet simple enough to play with someone who has never played mtg before and this set is perfect for that. I love the idea of ready to play decks right out of the pack and picking two at random. It's such a blast and even 24 packs can create a number of different combinations so that each game will always be different. I have nothing but great things to say about this set. There are a number of sought after cards and themes in this set. I've opened all but 8 of the packs, (which were set aside to play with one of my friends) and unfortunately didn't open any of the sought after cards or themes, but this set is so much fun, it doesn't bother me at all. My one complaint is the box was shipped in a bubble mailer and one side was pretty damaged. I still gave 5 stars however since none of the packs were damaged. I highly recommend this set for beginners and long term players. Edit: I opened the last 8 packs and I’m very happy with this box. I at least made my money back with the cards I pulled. There’s still a few themes I want from this set, but it was a great box overall.

The last great MTG product?
This is a fantastic set and concept. It's a great way to sit down and play, especially with people not experienced with drafting or deck building. I'm torn on the inclusion of lands, since most players are already flush with them but that's hardly a strike against this product. Let's hope if they ever do a 3rd+ Jumpstart they follow the pattern here.

Good but damaged
The product arrived damaged. The corner was smashed in.

The shipping time was good. The box arrived damaged (dented corners). The cards inside were not damaged because of this. The box arrived in a blisterpack bag. Wizards of the Coast had a number of damaged cards in the set, right out of the package. Top left corner of several cards looked like were cut on an poor angle, some even had a tiny 1mm shred of paper dangling from it (looked like it was from a card off the same print sheet. Another strange thing, was the sides of two packs were rust colored??!!?? Noticeable from the side of the cards, very odd (From the clouds sets, and Legion). It effected approximately 40 cards. Two of the cards were actually crimped and very heavily damaged on the lower left side (Archaelogy & Scholar of the lost trove). I was very disappointed but fortunate some of the rarer cards weren't impacted. All in all it was a so so experience. I can't fault the shipment but definitely have some concerns about WotC quality assurance. As a business, WotC you are paying salaries and benefits for staff to ensure this doesn't happen. They are either deliberately negligent at their job or incompetent. Either way, from a staffing perspective they are not doing what they are being paid for! As a consumer who orders online I expect to have my products undamaged out of the box. I'll order another box of Jumpstart and hope to have a better experience. If any company leaders get a hold of this review, I sincerely ask they take this to heart and help address these quality assurance issues. Sincerely John Lynch

One of the two boxes was great. It's a gamble.
I ordered two boxes of JumpStart from Amazon in two separate orders about a week or so apart. The first box was great. It arrived on its own, not packaged inside a brown box, and I was initially worried about that, however it turned out to be in good condition. I got some great cards from that box. I was pleasantly surprised as it seemed to have a lot of good value. The second box arrived slightly damaged and I may be crazy, but it seems like it was gutted of value. It was so drastically different from the first one. Very few "good" cards were retrieved from that second box. I usually try to support my local game stores, but often times their prices are way too far above and beyond the value of the box itself. Amazon has better prices, but their boxes can be a bit sketchy.

Extremely Fun!
Ordered three boxes of these to play with friends. You can play them right out of the packs, and it’s a good way to teach new players too. Or you can do like I did and sleeve them up and keep them bundled together as they come in the factory sealed packs. That way you can mash a couple together and play, and then separate them and put them back for next time. There are forty-something possible decks, and some are much rarer than others. I got most of them out of three boxes. I’m kind of treating it like a MtG board game. For the best bang for your buck, play some matches with friends as you open the packs, and then have those friends separate them again so they can be re-played. If you’re looking for specific singles, like the Allosaurus Shepherd, then buy singles. But if you’re looking to play an incredibly fun format, then buy packs!

Perfect for quick games, or beginners
If you can find these boxes for about $80 they are really fun grabbing two packs and playing with friends. There are also some great valuable cards in this product and you might get lucky, but these are better used for the way they were intended

Series Low on Mythics
Bought the booster box, literally, got zero mythics > . <. Apparently, this series does not have many mythics per box. Just sucks cuz i did it thinking I would get back into magic, but was definitely a motivation killer.

Arrived Quickly, not a reseal or fake product
I was worried about this being a re-seal or the like, and when I got it the packaging was slightly damaged (most likely by amazon’s padded envelope for a clamshell card thing. But when I checked the packs everything seemed in order and we got value in cards for the purchase. Edit: Ordered 2 more and pulled an Allosaurous from both packs so I’m happy
