It Is Perfectly accurate.

I Love Accuracy

I discovered my Stanley tape measure was horribly inaccurate and frankly our feet and inches system is so difficult and tedious when doing woodworking! This little tape measure has been a joy!!

Inaccurate. Off by 1 cm in 30 cm

Junk. After reading all the terrible reviews of all of the other tape measures available on Amazon - all made in China - despite the ads saying they were made in USA - from previously impeccable brands - I'm looking at you Starrett - I picked this Keson tape as there were only good reviews for it. That's because there were only a few reviews. Out of the package, things looked good. It seemed well-made. The mechanism operated smoothly. The tape extended easily and retracted every time. The tape supported itself effortlessly at well over 250 cm (10ft) extension. The brake mechanism was positive on and off. The numerals and markings were very clear and readable. It's a bright signal orange color - easy to spot on the bench or left somewhere in the workshop. But the darn thing's way inaccurate. Unusable. What good is a measuring tape that's not accurate?
