A MUST HAVE
This is a company that stands behind their products and you get what they advertise. The Art of Shaving Company has a beautiful line of products and I absolutely love the Sandalwood scent and my husband loves how it treats his skin!

Fragrance is strong, too strong for me
I really wanted to like this shave cream. So highly rated, so many very positive reviews. For me the fragrance is too strong. "It's me, not you" Ha!! The shave is fantastic with this cream, skin feels great, razor glided amazing, almost everything is fantastic except the never ending strong fragrance. There are reviews that point out the fragrance is an issue for some folks. I must fall in that camp. I prefer a light masculine fragrance that fades quickly. That does not describe AOS Sandalwood. I can wash my face with soap and water 3 times and can't get the scent to go away. For me I would describe this as shave cream/cologne. I will end by saying - it was a great shave, I just can't handle the fragrance.

Very nice
Although the scent is a bit strong for me (and I may be a bit sensitive), it's not obnoxious. A small amount goes a long way, so this jar will last a long time. It lathers well with just a splash of water and your razor will cut well with it.

The best shave cream I’ve used
You’ll have to practice a little bit to make sure you get the correct consistency. Do not try to foam in the same container- I’ve been using an empty container from a previous cream and it does the trick. Take out a fingertip full and place it in the empty container. Make sure your brush is wet, but not sopping wet. I squeeze excess water out of my brush before working the cream into a lather. If you aren’t getting the consistency you’d like, add water a few drops at a time. If your lather is too wet, squeeze the water out of your brush and add a pinch of cream.

Don’t be intimidated by the price, you don’t need much. So it will last.
This is the best shaving cream I’ve ever used. I use it for both my face and my skull. The amount that it takes to do my entire head is ridiculously small compared to other shaving cream’s. It is probably less than an 1/8 of a teaspoon. It has a great scent, not a overly strong scent. It is a neutral scent, not feminine or masculine.

Amazing
This shaving cream smells good and really helps get to the base of your hair. I am notorious for growing hair around my cheeks and after using this with a standard razor it looks like I never grew hair there in the first place at all.

Disappointing
Disappointed with this shaving cream. The fragrance is nice. It does not lather much and you need a lot of it. It needs a pre-shave oil to work in a decent way. I have tried 9 different shaving cream and this one is not really with the money accept for the fragrance. The jar is filled for 2/3 so it looks like you get a lot for your money but don't be fooled, like me. After 1 month I ran out, already!!

At first this product seems a little pricey but it helps provide the best shave ever. As a person with tough bristles and sensitive skin this product takes the agony out of shaving!!! It lasts for ages too if you use just a finger tips worth which is more than enough to get the job done effectively. This of course totally mitigates the cost so an all round winner.

Excellent shaving cream when used with the pre shave oil and shaving balm. I've been using this product for 5 years and have not looked back. Every other shaving cream or foam I've used irritated my skin before switching to the Art of Shaving. The Sandalwood also smells great!

Does what it is meant to do. Lasts for ages as only a little is needed on the brush to create a rich lather.

Good all rounder!
My husband loves this stuff but it is so hard to get here. Says it's the best for lather, makes the skin feel good and smells lovely.
