Kid approved. Mom, not so much.

Out of the box these are great shoes. Then after a couple wears I noticed that the insole doesn’t stay in these. At all. Like. Not even a little. Sigh. And like other reviews mentioned the rubber is starting to get messed up. My son wanted these and no other shoe though so I went with them. He does love them. And once they’re on they’re perfect so that’s why I only took off one star. If the kid approves. that’s enough for me.

Through my own mistake, had to order 3 times

When I bought the 1st pair of these shoes, they were too small for my grandson so I ordered another size even before I returned the first pair. The second pair came in and I then returned what I thought was the smaller pair, but in a moment of brain cramp, I accidentally returned the correct pair!! Totally my fault, but I had to then reorder the correct pair and finally return the wrong size and now my grandson absolutely LOVES them! He loves to show me how they light up, and they look super cute on him as well. He is 5 years old.

Insole is a flop

We usually love Stride Rite shoes and have bought them for years, but this one is not up to the normal SR quality. My son was delighted that these light up, but the insoles quickly started shifting around on him. I didn't realize how bad the problem was until he wore them on a family hike, and the insoles were crawling out the side of them! It was ridiculous. We thought about trying to glue them back in, but we couldn't think of a glue that would stay pliable enough for using inside a shoe and not leave a hard, irritating ridge.

Love this for thick wide toddler feet!

My son has a super wide foot and a thick foot. We have been doing xxwide and this was a regular wide. We were so surprised that they fit looser than other brands and xxwide sizes! He was ecstatic because he loves light up shoes but they rarely come in a wider toe box! Will definitely be ordering a different color for him so he can have options for once!

Great Comfy Shoe!

These shoes have been great for my active 5 year old twins! We love the color! They stand out and go with a lot of things. My boys love how brightly they light up. They have held up very well during rough play and they wash up quite nicely which is unusual for a lighted shoe. We love Stride Rite shoes!!

Heavy shoes

These are very heavy shoes and don’t took that comfortable. My son wears them as a last resort when he can’t find anything else but with that said he does wear them and doesn’t complain. Lights have worked well for the time being and they stay surprisingly clean considering he’s a boy and always running around mud!

Perfect fit

Got a 13.5 for my son who has large wide feet. They fit perfect. It’s hard to find shoes that fit my kids and stride rite are the best!
