Super Cute Shoes for Active Child

I have been a fan of the Stride Rite Made 2 Play brand for awhile now. They are very easy to put on (I really like the tab in the back to pull up on the shoe) but unfortunately my toddler has learned to easily take them off as well. She has no problem wearing them all day at day care (she just doesn't like them on in the car) so I assume they're comfortable. We went to the Stride Rite store to have her feet measured but they didn't have a big selection in her size at the store so we ordered them from here. The sizing was perfect and my daughter loves her new shoes. I love this color scheme with the pink and purple. The purple seems to hide the dirt pretty well. All of her Stride Rite shoes have held up incredibly to her active play and have shown very little wear by the time she needs a new size. To mean, it's worth paying a little bit more to know she's in a shoe specifically designed for her amount of play and activity.

I absolutely love Stride Rite shoes for my little one

I absolutely love Stride Rite shoes for my little one! I ordered these shoes in wide due to all the reviews about it running narrow. My daughter has small feet, but the wides fit pretty great when worn with socks. She can wear for hours and they still seem pretty comfy. Lots of support too. These shoes were labeled as "gray/pink", however it's definitely purple and pink like the pictures indicate. My only major con with this shoe is the velcro strap seems to be really long compared to other shoes and they sometimes "un-velcro" when my daughter is playing outside and really moving around on playground equipment or something. Overall VERY satisfied with these super cute shoes!!

The pictures of this shoe do NOT do it justice! They're SO much cuter in person. Colors are more vibrant and the gray mesh is actually irridecent sparkly silver, rather than the flat gray the pics here show. These shoes go with everything. My daughter has a wide foot. I ordered wide and they fit GREAT! She wears them without asking for me to take them off. They're very cushioned and machine washable!! I have an 8 year old i order these for way back when and they were the best shoes even then. You won't be disappointed in these. SUPER durable! They look great wash, after wash, after wash. I've always been a Stride Rite fan because of my wide footed babies. These are fantastic shoes! Will be ordering more in other colors!

Great Shoe, but not great wide shoe

I purchased for these for my toddler daughter and she has chunky feet so I have to purchase Wide shoes for her. These shoes are not as wide as some of the other stride rite shoes are. My daughter still wore them, but if I gave her a choice between this pair and her other Stride Rite Wide shoes, she picks the other ones everytime. They have held up great and for that I still gave four stars; just keep in mind these are not as wide as their other brands.

Great sneaker and comfortable

I bought a bigger size for my child. I always do this so she can grow into her sneakers. So the fit was perfect and I was able to wash the sneaker without any Damages or any parts falling off. Side note **. I sprayed the sneaker with oxy clean let them sit for 2 hours, sprinkled a little detergent on them, placed them in an old pillow case and placed it into the washing machine with the rest of my laundry. *** also I have read some reviews most customers are complaining about the fit being too tight try wide with or medium. I found out that narrow doesn't work for my child.

Good shoe.

Given four stars because I like them but I don't love them. I wish they would extend their baby/toddler size shoes with the flexible rubber soles to include size seven because I have a one year old that wears a size seven shoe. And since she is one she stumbles and has trouble walking. But back to these they are cute and stylish I bought the extra wide and they just seemed like a wide which leads me to believe they run narrow so if your childs foot is wide I would go with the extra wide.

Cute, comfy shoes

These shoes fit my kiddos wide feet super well (size 4 at 12mo). She only wore them for about 4-5 months and they already started to get a hole on top, so not super impressed with the quality. Because I got them for such a good price I'm not too upset.

Hope this helps, re: wider feet

Hope this is helpful. I happen to be quite picky with my child's shoes sincd foot and arch issues run in my family. My main concern when buying toddler shoes (for nearly 3 year old): ability to independently put shoes on and take off, prevent slips and falls, wide toebox. Lastly, I simply do not like the look of most toddled shoes so appearance is a factor. Somehow, a size larger shoe was still difficult for me to slip on her. This is ridiculous to me, just nit worth the trouble. Also. It does not have the bumptoe coverage, so when she did catch her toes - it ended up with a slip. Appearance was okay. She may have liked it, she is neutral on shoe fashion. I tend to like less flashy kids shoes, at least this wasn'tcompletely pink and purple. I want her to feel comfortable climbing and getting messy without worrying about how it looks on her shoes. Honestly, I ended up buying a boys Oshkosh bumptoe shoe.
