Beautiful doll, but not ideal packaging

Journey Girls dolls have such beautiful faces, and the Meredith doll does not disappoint. She is lovely, as is her yellow purse. Her clothing is also nicely made. The only disappointment is her packaging. Original Journey Girls dolls came in a colorful printed box with a clear plastic front, so you can see the doll inside. This doll was "new," but she came in a brown cardboard box with "Journey Girls" printed on the outside. If collecting these dolls ~ or gifting them to someone who will keep the box ~ it's a disappointment to not have the original style box. I ordered one Journey Girls doll as "Used - Very Good" from Amazon Warehouse whose description said she might not come in original packaging. So when that doll (Kyla) came in a brown cardboard box, I was expecting different packaging, and was pleasantly surprised that the cardboard box was as nice as it was ~ with "Journey Girls" printed on it, along with a gift label. However, when I ordered a 'new' Meredith doll, and she came in a brown cardboard box, it was honestly a surprise and a disappointment. If you're ordering for a child, with no intention of keeping the box ~ or trying to keep the doll in its box as a collectable ~ it's a lovely doll at a good price. And I wouldn't pass up Meredith, Kyla, or Kelsey. Truly beautiful dolls. Thank you for carrying, Amazon!

Beautiful Doll!!

I purchased this for my niece who will be 2 this Christmas and yes I mean the 2023 Christmas. I shop early and get my shopping done by September so I’m not rushing and miss anything. Gotta love being OCD…Lol. Anyway it is beautiful. She is going to love it. It’s soft and the eyes are gorgeous blue. Her hair is beautiful. I highly recommend this doll.

Beautiful doll, but check her over before gifting!

I ordered this doll in mid-May for my daughter's 4th birthday. Her birthday isn't until June 9th, so luckily I did my Amazon shopping early! "Meredith" arrived today, and I wanted to open her and wrap her in an easy box for my daughter to easily open and be able to play with the doll right away. I also ordered PJs for my daughter with MATCHING doll PJs and thought about putting the doll in the PJs for wrapping. Anyway- I looked at the dolls eyes and right away saw a bit quality control flaw. One eye had a perfect set of eye lashes, the other---they were attached in the "tear duct" corner and were only about half the width of the other eye lash set. It definitely looks strange! I know this doll "only" cost $35, but for my daughter's BIG 4th birthday gift, I want her to look really good. I LOVE that Amazon has easy-peasy return options. I just put the doll back in the box and will be taking her to a UPS drop center in the next month (sooner than later so we don't have a doll sitting around to be discovered!) and Amazon has a NEW Meredith doll coming in a few days! I will update as to the quality of the new doll's eyes/eyelash placement. Thank you, Amazon for making this right!

Perfect in every way

Seriously, what’s not to love?? Somehow the American Girl company got my address and, about six weeks prior to Christmas, their catalog shows up in the mail. My two daughters went nuts, circling over $4000 worth of American Girl stuff. I had to have a sit down conversation with them that $100 dolls and $50 doll clothes was something I was going to choose NOT to buy them. So I was astounded to find this doll, and others like it, for 1/3 the cost. Plus all the accessories their little hearts desired. And honestly, these dolls are cuter and just as high quality. Very grateful to have made this purchase. My girls haven’t stopped playing with their Meredith and Mikaella dolls.

Journey Girls - The best 18in dolls

Meredith is a beautiful doll. The Journey Girl line of dolls is one of the best and was rated as a TOP Toy of the Year. The price is right and the quality is great. As a parent, I prefer to purchase Journey Girls over American Girls. (Or any other 18in doll). The price is better and the dolls are lovelier.

Great doll- compatible with other brand dolls too!

This was a great deal! Slightly leaner than the Our Generation dolls but can swap clothes/prod RA back and forth. Came in a cute box and my daughter doesn’t notice the slight difference in build.

Pictures don't do her justice!

Don't overlook Meredith. My daughter didn't want her at first, she said she was plain. She changed her mind, we got her and her pictures don't do her justice. She is a pretty doll in person! We are very happy we got her!
