As advertised

Replaced every door handle in my house almost a year ago with no issues or complaints at all

Lockable doorknob is good, not great. Delivered without all parts.

Picture of doorknob is accurate. Assembly was fairly easy (I'm not a beginner but with templates and right tools, it's not too difficult for DIY'r). This knob, which was delivered in a box (as opposed to retail store versions that come in sealed plastic packaging), but it's the same item. However, it was *missing* the "pin" needed to re-key it. Coming in a box as it did (unsealed), it would have been easy for another customer (or employee) to remove that part and then return the item. Luckily, I happened to have a spare one and opted not to return the doorknob. This doorknob is lockable using the key from the outside (like a deadbolt), unlike some types that lock by pushing a button in on the inside knob. This is good and not so much. Knobs that lock by pushing a button on the inside tend to be slightly easier to unlock from outside. On the other hand, this doesn't require opening the door to lock it, and is possibly a bit more secure.

Nice looking, easy to install

Not only are these great locks but if you are putting in a lot of them, as I do building homes, the price is great and they come in 'contractor' boxes so there is no extra consumer retail packaging to open - and we all know that's both frustrating and time consuming as well as not environmentally friendly.

Exactly as described

Exactly as described. I purchased it with an alternate door latch and it all fit and installed perfectly. I have it 4 put of 5 stars as the handle was partially scratched up when we unboxed it.

Great value for my purpose

I used this as two dummy knobs on a set of bi-folding closet doors. Doing that met making some modifications to the knob. It all worked out nicely for me.
