Beautiful dollhouse

The dollhouse is huge and absolutely gorgeous, the door came broken, I contacted the customer service and they responded within 2 days. My LO loves it.

Lots of small damages

The house is adorable and my daughter loves it. However, I was disappointed with the multiple damages to the components though (shown in photos). There was no way to get individual replacement parts from what I could tell. Would have exchanged in the hopes of one with fewer issues but it was too large/too many pieces for it to be worth it

Le Toy Van Dolls' House - Mulberry Manor

I bought this for my daughter's 4th birthday. It arrived within two days and was extremely easy to put together. All the pieces slot into place so it is just as easy to dismantle, but is sturdy enough for children to play with. I am very impressed with the finish of the house. The sash windows open and shut, and stay shut with magnets. My daughter opens the roof herself and takes it off to make the front path. We bought 3 sets of furniture for the house (drawing room, kitchen and bedroom) and you really don't need any more, although we'll probably also get the children's bedroom. The accessories are wonderful with fantastic attention to detail, eg. the kitchen has milk bottles for the fridge and a slice of toast in the toaster; the chairs have tie-on cushions - and all made out of wood and fabric rather than plastic. The family is cute (although not currently available on Amazon; we bought it separately). They are primarily wood but are jointed so that can stand, sit, dance etc. The gift was a huge success and I expect she will be playing with it for many years.

Product Review

This is a perfect sized doll house for a young child. In addition is is quite sturdy which is surprizing when it just "clicks" together during assembly. It does not take more than 5-10mins to assemble and can be done by one person. The instructions are quite straight forward. The colors are pretty and unlike some other doll houses this does come with furniture. A couple of pieces of furniture needed a little glue but nothing serious. It is wooden which gives it more charm than the typical plastic houses. This is intended to be a gift to a toddler who I think will be fine with this piece. The size is perfect for animal families like calico critters or Olivia the Pig Mini Figures. Overall a great doll house that is not the generic type seen in most stores. Four stars just because of the furniture issue.

Best Christmas Present - used with Calico Critters

Bought this dollhouse for my three yr old daughter for Christmas. She LOVED the calico critters in the store but I wasn't thrilled with the actual animal house. The calico critters houses seem really small and difficult for children to move the animals and accessories around. So I looked for a better house option - this far exceeded my expectations. The house was really easy to assemble - took my husband and I about 20 minutes. The quality is top notch - colors great, decor inside the house adorable, staircase (crucial for my daughter). I used the calico critters furniture and it fits great. The only other thing I would want for this house that isn't available would be room dividers. The downstairs and upstairs are all one space - but the staircase in the middle does divide the two. Overall we love it - my daughter plays with it constantly, my one year old even likes it and hasn't destroyed it yet!!! Also, I like the fact that the house closes and all of the dollhouse accessory chaos inside is out of view!

Best Dollhouse Ever!

We bought this for our two year old after returning the ginormous Kidcraft atrocity. This house is DARLING! She loves to move the people up the stairs and play in the different rooms. I love that the roof can be set at different angles, or come off completely. This house is exactly the right size, the colors are very subtle, and it looks great in her room. It stores nicely on a night stand when she is not playing. I did quite a bit of looking before deciding on this one, I am so glad we got it. It is better than the PB Westing house (size and price) and way better quality than most that I looked at. Easy peasy to put together I assembled it with the help of my 4 yr. old in about 25 minutes). We bought the Ryan's room people to go in it, and HearthSong furniture. I don't write reviews very often, but I was really satisfied and wanted to share :)

Beautiful toy or collector's house

Well made and lovely to look at, with cute 'interactive' features like window shutters. The recipient, age 5, adores this. She has populated it with various small toy creatures, e.g. her Peppa Pig collection, in preference to the set of dolls-house dolls we bought, so maybe don't bother buying specific dolls? The stairs are a bit tricky and she can't put them back in place herself - they are removable, but it may be better to glue in place after assembly. Biggest drawback is that although you can open up the roof and see into the attic, to which a set of internal stairs lead, you can only open the flap by removing the chimneys. This is a design flaw in my opinion. She now has it permanently open, which does spoil the look a bit. It is not too deep front to back, so will fit against a bit of spare wall in a bedroom without sticking out into the room too far.

Beautiful doll house

It’s expensive but nice. My 5 year old loves it. Great service. The first one had a bolt missing and some damage which was quickly replaced with a new one. Plus the good people at Amazon also played the role of elf for my little one. She wanted to know who was going to fix her Christmas present. Thanks much

Wunderschönes Puppenhaus

Bei uns war alles in Ordnung. Es gab weder kaputtes Holz noch Lackierfehler. Die Verpackung war auch sehr gut, die Teile waren ausreichend geschützt. Ich hätte mir vielleicht zwischen den Einzelteilen noch eine Polsterungspappe gewünscht, nur Papier fand ich etwas wenig. Der Originalkarton ist nochmal in einem Versandkarton. Geliefert wurde mit GLS, wobei ich ganz schön geschwitzt habe, da man mit denen keine guten Erfahrungen hatte. Aber auch dabei ging diesmal alles gut. Beim Auspacken blieben an einigen Stellen beim Entfernen des Trennpapiers ein paar winzige Rückstände haften, die sich aber entfernen ließen. Der Zusammenbau hat drei Stunden gedauert. Wenn man es allein machen muss, braucht man ein paar Hilfsmittel, die man zwischen die Bodenplatte und die Platte vom 1. Stock als Stütze setzen kann, damit nichts wegbrechen kann. Diese dürfen aber nicht zu schwer sein. Für die Verschraubung der Rückwand ist ebenfalls eine Stütze zum Unterlegen hilfreich. Die Schrauben sind von guter Qualität, das Gewinde bleibt völlig intakt. Die Bohrlöcher wirken sehr klein, es lässt sich aber alles anbringen. Allerdings muss man dabei sehr vorsichtig sein, damit nichts bricht. Besonders das schmale Bauteil vom Türdach ist dabei gefährdet. Ich empfehle die Schrauben abwechselnd Stück für Stück anzuziehen, die Rückwand dabei immer über Kreuz, damit sich die zu verschraubenden Teile gleichmäßig heranziehen. Beim Zusammenbau sowie beim Aufstellen auf einen ebenen Untergrund achten, sonst sind die Holzteile nicht mehr in der richtigen Position. Die Schlitze für die Blumenkästen sind so geschnitten, dass die Teile geradeso hineinpassen, da diese gleichzeitig als Fixierung der Holzplatten dienen. Das Dach wird zum Schluss auf beiden Seiten hintereinander vorsichtig eingehängt. Nach dem Zusammenbau lässt sich das Haus links und rechts unter den Blumenkästen vorsichtig transportieren. Dabei darauf achten, dass die Blumenkästen nicht herausrutschen und anschließend jeden einzelnen noch einmal auf den richtigen Sitz überprüfen. Ebenmäßig aufgestellt schließen die Türen des Hauses gleichmäßig ab. (Wenn der Untergrund uneben ist, verziehen sie sich, und es entsteht ein Spalt.) Die Magnete sind ausreichend stark, die Türen bleiben zu. Für den Zusammenbau empfehle ich nach Möglichkeit mehrere Personen zur Hilfe zu nehmen. Man soll das Ganze zwischendurch auf die Seite legen, damit beim Arbeiten die Türen nicht herausrutschen. Das ist alleine etwas schwierig, ich habe es daher nicht gemacht. Ging prima auch so, man muss halt nur aufpassen, dass die Türen sich dann dabei nicht selbstständig machen. Das Design entsprach bei uns der Produktabbildung, also alles in rosa. Das Dach glitzert leicht. Nach Fertigstellung ist es ein wunderschönes haltbares und stabiles Puppenhaus.

Nachdem meine Tochter die Biegepuppen von Le Toy Van wesentlich hübscher fand als die Lundby-Familie, sind wir umgeschwenkt und haben statt des geplanten Lundby-Hauses nun das Cherry Tree Hall House bestellt. Das Haus ist wirklich wunderschön, toll verarbeitet und in dezenten FArben gehalten, so dass es hoffentlich auch noch in ein paar Jahren gemocht wird. Das Zusammenstecken geht sehr einfach und das ganze Haus macht einen sehr stabilen, wertigen Eindruck. Toll finden wir, dass es sich aufgrund der Türen komplett verschließen last, und bei Nichtgebrauch ein wenig wie eine Kommode aussieht ;-) Ich bin gespannt, wie meine Tochter reagiert, wenn sie das Haus zum 5. Geburtstag bekommt. Sie ist ja ein wenig älter als die eigentliche Zielgruppe (ab 3 Jahren) und ich finde die Le Toy Van Möbel zwar ebenfalls wunderschön, aber doch ein wenig 'klobig'. In ein paar Tagen werde ich berichten können, ob das Haus samt Möbeln zum Lieblingsspielzeug erkoren wurde ;-)
