Nice switch, but..

Great switch, but it is ONLY a side wire connection, and only for solid wire. I have stranded, so it's not useable for me. Also, strap indicates SPEC grade, and does not fully enclose the switch body. Would be a good switch for light commercial, or residential.

Easy to install. Just strip the wires. Slide under tabs. Tighten. Done

I paid less than $2, it's not worth $9

It was OK, but I bought some heavy duty ones locally to get good back connections. This part doesn't have any (I didn't really know what that meant at the start). Some other styles accept 14 AWG wire in the back; the ones I got locally take up to 12 AWG. 4 star at $2, 1 star at $9.

Heavy duty

Had to replace a 60 year old outdoor switch. This was the exact size and fit perfectly. The toggle swtch is a slight bit wider than a regular switch. This is exactly what I needed ! Great heavy duty quality !

Well designed and sturdy

Now, this is a switch! Installed 6 of these in the shop. We live on the coast and switches in some areas of the building can corrode very quickly. These promise to hold up where consumer switches degraded quickly. Love their action and solid feel.
