Runs Fantastic

This RC is totally worth the money, highly durable, only has 1 durability flaw that i had found so far, it has so much torgue that the support bars take soo much pressure onto the rear axle, after about 50 fast take offs you will have one of those support bars break off of the axle and will have to upgrade the rear axle to metal, but after doing that this is a beast of a RC, Definitely worth the money!

As scale as it gets in my opinion

This truck is amazing and makes me feel like a kid again! It truly looks like a scale monster truck and drives like one too! I have had a blast playing with it and learning how to tune it! Horizon is also an amazing company! I had my truck sagging to the side out of the box and I thought maybe it could be a shock or sway bar problem. After looking into it I notice that my shocks were bad out of the box. So I contact horizon and they have done everything to help get my truck going! They even sent out the parts I needed! 10/10 would buy from them again. Losi quality is definitely present here!

Absolute favorite

It is perfect for scale jumping and racing. On 3s I'm certain mine is over 30mph. The axles are weak by design, once you start to abuse it like a bashing rc. I have been doing backflips out of a 4ft quarter pipe and haven't broke it. Any bad landing could wreck it and cost over $60, but the 7075 aluminum upgrades can fix the weak parts. When I am fully done building mine it will be about $1,000 in upgrades, but it does not need anything to my favorite rc truck in my fleet.

Replace the front Steering Knuckles and grab a set of limit straps

Very fun truck. You will eventually need to replace the plastic axles if you plan to send it. For small scale jumps it's fine in its stock form. So far, the only issue I had is the plastic steering knuckles will not hold the kingpins without a little modification. I just opted to replace them with aluminum ones and that solved the problem. Other than that, it's more than fast enough with 3s. Just know with the stock set up it's more for 1/10 scale monster jam style jumps not jumping over a house.

Super fun truck!

Meh, I expected a lot for a $600. When I took the truck out of the box, the wheel fell off. Apparently Horizon Hobby doesn’t really do quality check. The truck was missing(!) all 6 of the screw that keep the wheel on. Going over the body, I found a giant crack on the grill and crappy sticker that looks faded. The steering servo is weak and light cables are too short to open the shell up all the way. I tried getting in touch with Horizon Hobby, but have been unsuccessful the last 5 time. I will be returning it ***** edit ***** Horizon contacted me and made it right!

Very fun truck!!!

Overall great buy, not cheap but mad fun with very decent gears. I gave 4x stars on durability coz the steering knuckle pins fell out after about 6-8 runs, replacement set cost $8.99 and I won't upgrade to aluminum until things actually break on me but so far it takes a good beating.

monster truck honest review

I like the truck at first so i purchase it for my nephew actually this is 2nd one but unfortunately this one had a badd malfunction It caught on fire smoking from I guess the engine part I'm just happy no one was hurt so I will be returning it as soon as possible and maybe once your tech see it he can tell me what actually happen because it was a close call thanks
