Wonderful tool

I now have 3 of these and I love them. I have 3 air hoses, and I think they are totally worth it.

Works perfectly

I really like safety-style couplers for my air hoses. They prevent dropped tools. They prevent small tools from being blown out upon release. They connect easily. They don't leak air. I wore out a Husky safety coupler. This Milton coupler replaced it. Works perfectly. Seems to connect more smoothly than the old Husky coupler, but that may be because the Husky coupler was wearing out. Anyway, the Milton coupler works perfectly. I wouldn't hesitate to order more when needed.

these should be used with the milton branch M threaded connectors !!!!!

this product is very well made and when used with the milton complementary threaded connectors work very well even with 130 psi air. do not mix this with off brand connectors as the fit has to be precise to work under higher pressures. i have used 2 or three of the cheap(including husky) safety couplers and they are problematic but when used with the milton brand threaded connectors these work very well!! gene

Leaks when attached to tools, might be quick release yet not much on quick attach

All purchased leak air when attached. Using Milton plugs as well. Have use milton exclusively in my professional trade at at home shop for over 4 decades. Will not buy them again.

Milton couplers are second to none!

Heavy duty coupler. I've had one of these for 5+ years and it's still working perfect. I purchased a second one for another air hose I have. Well worth the money. If you buy the cheaper air couplers you will be replacing them frequently. You get what you pay for when it comes to these couplers.

Not Very Good

I purchased 2 of these and I thought since they were Milton they would be durable. I installed the first one and it worked fine for about 2 weeks. I had been using it all day with no problems then all of a sudden when I went to plug a tool into it, it released and started shooting air out it. I could not get anything to lock back into it and had to shut off the air supply. I was disappointed that it only lasted a couple of weeks as it had been working very well. Oh well I have another, I installed the new one, and it does not leak and the tools plug and lock into it fine, but it will not allow any air to flow through the fittings, so it's totally useless.

Blown Away!

This coupler is the BEST one available. I have looked for these for some time and only wish that I had them a long time ago. The only problem I see, is that you must use premium male fittings for it to work properly. Luckily I only had two fittings that did not work with it. The quality of this coupler is amazing!!

Went back to the old brass couplers. These are no good.

Started out great when I added this to my shop for a little upgrade. Several times button mechanism would jam when uncoupling allowing air to blast unrestricted out of the unconnected hose at full pressure. Button also freezes solid in cold weather. After 2 months of use it finally just broke and I switch back to the old style brass coupler. Might be ok if your a carpenter and working with lower pressures and indoors. For farm application in Canadian winter...forget it. Too bad though. I was excited to try it.
