cute tiny colander

Understand this is small. Only big enough for 1 tomato or a box of cherry tomatoes. heaver and better made than I was expecting.

Exactly what I wanted.

I have one “a bit larger” that I think is 1 quart, this one is .75 quart. I use my original one all the time…. needed another and this being” a bit smaller” seemed fine. Some of the complaints have said they are poor quality but I didn’t find that to be the case (maybe I’m just not as picky). I’ve had my large one for about 10 yrs and haven’t had a problem. This one appears to be same quality. They do have a flat bottom w/o holes so some water/liquid doesn’t drain BUT I just tip it a bit to get rid of the small amount of excess water/liquid that didn’t drain. Bottom Line: I find this perfect to grab for draining a can of beans or whatever, rinsing some grapes etc or even some pasta as I’m only cooking for myself. The slightly larger one, might be the one you’d want to get if you are only getting one BUT I think you would even find this .75 quart has quite a few uses. Either one is easy to hang on a hook inside a cabinet door near the sink to grab and use quickly.

Love this little colander!

I LOVE this colander and use it 5-6 times week. I used it to rinse vegetables that I buy pre-sliced. It is much easier to use than a big colander and also easier to clean. The price was very reasonable, too. Buy it...You won't regret it.

It's Berry Good!

All I needed was a small stainless steel colander to replace the easily stained plastic one I currently own to rinse blueberries for my morning breakfast smoothie, and this one fills the bill perfectly at an outstanding price point. It weighs 5.7 ounces and feels solidly constructed with decently thick sidewalls. The bottom, however, is thinner and flexes slightly when I push upward on it (no flex when pushing downward), which is just an absolute non-factor that causes me zero concern. The spot welds for the base and handles appear adequate, but if they ever do pop loose, it would simple enough to reattach them with some epoxy or cold weld product. There are a few reviews with complaints about the size, which I chalk up to people maybe not understanding the measurements given and are expecting the bowl itself to be 8.625 inches by 6.375 inches. The actual measurements are as follows: Handle to handle width: 8.25 inches Outer edge to outer edge width (at top): 6.25 inches Inner edge to inner edge width (at top): 5.5 inches Inside of bowl depth: 2.5 inches. Overall depth: 3 inches This is a terrific mini colander for a great price that will probably serve the lone purpose that I require for far longer than I will be around to require it. Made in India.

Completely useless

The bottom is convexed which causes liquid to gather around the edges where there are no drain holes. I have tried washing berries and draining them , and they just end up sitting in water at the bottom. Don't bother with this product. Completely useless.

Es justo el tamaño que se anuncia, Asia he no hay forma de que la boquilla enbone en un traste del mismo tamaño. Si fuera un poco más grande funcionaria para los envases de 6", así sólo funciona con envases con boca menor a 5 3/4" Le cabe poco más de 3/16 de galón.
