Wow worked better than expected
I was pretty athlete even into my late 40s in Tennis and skiing but I had taken a tumble down some stairs 10+ years ago and tweaked my back or pinched a nerve. The symptoms were after around 30 minutes of standing my lower/middle back muscles started to spasm like a charlie house you get in your calves in the morning (Well I've had them). It would get so annoying and painful It made listening to a conversation difficult because I was trying to block the pain + listen. Had to sit more often for sure. Well I made it thought 2 hours of standing at a show and never got that spasm. WOW I'm taking 10+ years of this back issue and this brace fixed it (Sort of) I mean I would rather not have to wear anything. But now I can shop, walk, talk with far less pain.

Great for this crash survivor!
I was hit by a truck a year ago and broke everything T12-S1, with L1 being the worst. My back is my biggest source of pain, despite multiple narcotics and other pain meds, plus massage, heat therapy, etc. I first put this on at the end of the day and it immediately took away the worst of the sharp pain in my back! It doesn’t fix everything, but I think it’s a great addition to my toolkit.

Quality back brace for support
Mueller's design here is simple but snug. Wrap it around strap it up and get to moving. It's secure enough for a back brace for support. It's not something medical grade or anything but it'll support your back so it doesn't ache as bad. I don't have chronic pain or anything but when I overdue it sometimes lifting heavy objects at work (I.E. stocker) and not using proper form for lifting probably it is nice to have that extra support then for when it's sore. It's comfortable enough to where you can wear it for a long time but I wouldn't ever say you don't notice it's on. It doesn't bother me though either. I haven't used it while working yet but I don't think it restricts my movement too much or would be all too uncomfortable when bending, crouching, and lifting boxes/heavy bags of dog food. I might sweat a little more but that's no biggie either. And it's quick to take off and put back on so you can always adapt.

A strong solid back brace
This is a solid buy because the product served it's purpose, Im constantly on my feet for at least 10 to12 hours straight a day, and at work I'm constantly lifting heavy boxes and as I age I do realize certain body parts do need some form of support and help and this particular back brace helps out a lot, it's easy to adjust to make a tight fit and it's comfortable, remember size is important, to achieve a proper fit you have to know and order your right size, there's plenty of high priced back brace's out there that you may think is better because of the high price, don't believe the hype, it's only a back brace, not only do this particular brace support your back it also helps with your posture as well, I'm not the type of person who have one of anything, I own asessive amounts of everything I like and need, so I will always be able to compare one to the other, and I compared this back brace to the other 7, I have and this one serves its purpose well.

Lower back pain no more
My wife had a lower back issue that was causing her a lot of pain. Immediately upon putting this back brace on the pain subsided and hopefully can now heal since the back brace immobilizes the movement that was aggravating her injury.

Excellent Product For UR Nagging Endless Back PAINS
UPDATE! As stated before, this product is excellent for your nagging back pains (lower or otherwise). Note it doesn't HEAL your nagging pains though other than help you with the ability to get up and move around to do the things you needed to do to make your day worth living. The manufacturer needs to think of INCREASING the Width (W) of the Band by 2-inches (50mm) so as to reach certain parts of one's back that the PAIN may be more pronounced. This Mueller back belt is DURABLE, belt materials have NO FUNKY SMELL, belt has high performance strength, dirt resistance, funky smell resistance, dust resistance etc. etc.

The best back brace I've had!
Problems with SI joint related muscle pain in the lower back. This brace provides great support and allows me to be on my feet to accomplish minor tasks around the house. I always wear it if I go out. Love it.

Total Relief.
I'm a 73 year-old skier. My friends and I ski mostly bumps and glades. I've skied over a hundred days this year. Lately my back has bothered me, not while skiing but later when getting out of my chair and out of bed. My best friend has been wearing this brace and suggested I try it. I was reluctant because my back didn't hurt while skiing. With nothing to lose, I ordered it and tried it. I was astonished to find intstant relief. I just finished 3 consective days skiing with this brace on and I'm still amazed that I can get up after sitting for half an hour and have no pain!

After reading through various reviews, I was apprehensive if it would fit my waist(37").. But I have to admit that the back brace suits me fine and is just what I desired..

Highly adjustable, functional support brace
I have a mildly herniated disc from kickboxing/jiu jitsu in my lower lumbar. In between physio, I needed something to support my day to day activities. This back brace fit the bill and at a reasonable price, too. I am 135lbs with a 30 inch waist, and because of the double wrap functionality, I can cinch the brace from comfortable to boa constrictor with ease. After about a month of solid use, the velcro is starting to show signs of wear due to how tight I have to pull it, but I'm confident it will last for several more months of extreme squeezage. In addition, I now feel extreme sympathy for women who have worn or who have to wear corsets on a regular basis. Back to reality, the springs in the back provide rigid support, preventing me from bending too far forward or backward, and the fit is sleek enough to be invisible under a normal t-shirt/dress shirt. Because of the springs propensity to dig in IF you lie on your back, I wouldn't recommend the brace as a sleeping aide (although, I used it for a single night). The product is more of a help you get through your day sort of aide. I've also used it somewhat frequently in my car; however, I recommend a simple Lumbar Pillow for that function. This is the exact one I use and was recommended by my Physio therapist. I can't find a reason to take away any stars, and I would buy one again should the need ever arise. Cross our fingers that it doesn't.

Use a tape measurer to determine if this product will fit you, NOT your pants size
I am a plus sized girl, I am 5'3 200 lbs and my jeans size is 34 inches. However, when I measure my waist at the belly button with a tape measurer, I am 41 inches. At 41 inches, this product fit me perfectly well, with ample room to spare. Don't go by pant size to determine if this will fit you, as pant sizes are usually 7 - 10 inches smaller than your actual waist size. Use a tape measurer only. If the tape measurer around your belly button area says your waist is less than 48 inches, this brace should fit you very comfortably. if you don't have a tape measurer, then add 8 inches to what your pant size is and that's probably your waist measurement. As for the quality of the brace: it is fantastic. My back feels really supported and comfortable. It also gives a slimming effect, smooths down the bulges and gives a nice curve to the waist for ladies. For the price, this is a fantastic product. I highly recommend it.
