Comfortable

Nice slippers that started initially with a nice fit but have slowly widen out a bit as they have been worn. The slippers are comfortable with some type of padding on inside. They do NOT have the memory foam which is a PLUS. Memory foam has not worked out for me. Soft fake fur on inside feels great, easy to slip on, but since they have stretched out a little I added a heal grip in back which has helped. Next time I may go down a size smaller. Wish they had half sizes.

The only drawback is the raw hide laces that continually come untied.

Comfortable and warm, but ...

I like this slipper a lot. It is much better than the leather slipper I had before this. However, and this might seem picky, but the leather laces could be improved. First, they come undone in the normal course of (my) wearing - usually within a day, and then it is possible to trip on them by stepping on the lace that has come loose. Tying the laces in a double knot, which worked with the replaced slippers, doesn't work well with these; the double knot keeps working loose. Also, the laces aren't all that strong; I broke one of them trying to tie the knot tighter the first day I wore them. I have been thinking about buying some separate leather rawhide laces to see if they are stronger and come loose less, because I really like the slippers. My old pair had a fairly thin sole and I wear my slippers outside fairly often (I am retired). The xeriscape rocks/pebbles in the front yard were hard to walk on when going out to refill the bird feeder. The new slippers work just fine since the soles are thicker. The interior of the slippers is warmer and thicker, another reason to like these. The old slippers lasted several years; based on the construction of these new slippers I am expecting them to last longer (I wear them a lot). Overall I would buy these again and just plan on replacing the leather laces (perhaps, hopefully, with the ones I am going to buy for this new pair).

Very comfortable

Love these slippers and highly recommend them. My feet tend to sweat and smell. My feet never smell with these Luks.

Many reviews mentioned getting a size up ?

I like these slippers moccasins, took reviews seriously bought a size up to my dismay returned and ordered my size 9 they fit perfectly. I would say if your half size in-between definitely size up. Not much cushion but comfortable think they should last a year or two.

Cheap leather shoe strings.

Cheap leather shoe strings broke when tightened. I got a pair of flat cloth shoe strings and have had no more problems. Otherwise the house shoes are comfortable, fit well, and are quiet on wood floors.

Fit smaller than size

Bought size 12 but they are a little short. Gifted to brother and ordered a size 13. Other than this they were just as described.

Fall aprt and split at seams

Glued on soles- no stitching- fall apart after 3 months INDOORS !

Excellent quality, fit a bit snug

Great soles that are solidly attached to the body of the slipper. Nice, warm, cozy feel. They do run a bit small, but a few days of wear stretches them out. Overall very pleased with the slippers.

THESE WILL MARK YOUR FLOORS, BUY BIGGER SIZE

Contrary to the numerous replies from buyers of this slipper to my question asking if these are non-marking (which goes to show you really cannot rely on what you read on the internet), I can confirm that they do in fact mark. Just received the slipper and a simple swipe of the sole across my wood floor leaves a definite mark that I need to rub off with my finger. Obviously, if you do not drag the sole in anyway across the floor, then it will not be a problem, but if you do, expect to see marks. It's not permanent but be detracting if you do it enough. So do keep that in mind. They do feel nice and not overly wide as I have a narrow foot. But length, size up. I am size 11 and my toes are tight to the front. Yes, they may stretch, but not willing to go through that to get there....going back.

Sizing is not true to size

Order one size up. They fit small. The overall product looks nice, good quality, well made.
