Meh, not as nice in person

Bought this coat at full price for $250 because I wanted to replace my older ski jacket. It looked nice in photos but not as nice in person. The shell material is stretchy but thin and gets hard in the cold air, and made a noticeably loud swishing noise in all temperatures and I don't think it would stand up to much abrasion without tearing. It's warm-ish but not tshirt underneath warm. I walked out to get the mail in it on a 10 degree day with 20mph winds and felt a chill in the 3 minutes I was outside. I'm 6'2 180lbs and bought a large tall since they didn't have medium tall. It fit alright, maybe slightly large, but not overly for my frame. I just checked Columbia's website and the jacket has gone on sale there for $180 since I bought this 5 days ago. I won't be re-purchasing it at the lower price as it left a lot to be desired for $250 coat, let alone a $180 one. I'll spend a little more money on a better quality brand to lessen my disappointment.
